Honestly hated to have to replay the whole first episode, due to one measly bug, I am sure that issue could have been handled without requiring a complete replay.

Nope, it was a necessary code change for Facegram stuff going forward, no way around it.

Miranda is my current favorite, although I like Aurora too just for the hatesex. Taylor is cute enough but not super interesting to me so far. Olive seems an odd mix of awkward and not very smart. The first I don't mind, but the second is a dealbreaker. Meanwhile, Rose is a walking cockblock, and for whatever reason, I find Lana's model (and her sister's, obviously) very unattractive.
I think I have similar taste to yours but in my case the only one that I still don't care about is Olive, I just find her completely out of place with the rest of the cast... However, my opinion on some characters improved a lot after episode 2 so who knows maybe episode 3 will do the same.

Finished Ep 2. Did a couple of reloads where there were exclusive choices for scenes so I have them all unlocked. I missed 3 images but it's probably just due to choices.

I don't really have a definite rank for the LIs yet but I at least have them grouped into tiers based on how much I like them.

Well, I ended up writing a book. This is now one of my favorites and I hope it continues to be just as good moving forward.

Finished the whole thing and enjoyed it, but annoyed at forced interaction with Aurora. Not only has part of the bet been ignored (the part about making Andrea stop being a bitch to Lana, it better just be delayed) but while they are still trying to blackmail the MC they should get zero attention. The only way to win a game with sociopaths is to not play. I get it, she's there for the Quinn fans (to continue an example from the previous post) but enough of us see the signs and want to run the other way. She either needs a redemption path where she stops being toxic, or we should be able to completely ignore her. So far the only choices I've been given regarding her that I can remember is to ignore her advance at the movie that I didn't want to go to in the first place, and stopping the stalker at the weekend party. And I did that one because the MC is security, so I'm sure I'm going to be further annoyed because that will probably count as points toward her.

I don't remember being able to ignore Quinn even if you wanted to be as far away from her as possible either. Aurora's arc seems pretty obvious to me and the MC already turned down Elsa's offer of help so he could deal with it himself. If the blackmail actually comes into play, he'll plot his way out, just like the mock trial. We're only on EP 2 and using Quinn as an example again, she didn't really start her "redemption" (it's not even really one) arc until EP 5 when you find her in the rain. Story just needs to unfold. All of these college style VNs have at least one "huh" plot in them and it's typically better to just let it play out.

Well, I finally got caught up with the Dev on this game. Very nicely done. Granted, most choices I tried to keep Selflessness high, but some of them, had to slip to the dark side on, as they seemed too fun, like going with Rose and Lana's idea about the alarm clock. ;):ROFLMAO:

Now this was fun, but I do hope when the time comes in the future, the ending doesn't feel as rushed as Entrepreneur did, but we shall see when we get to that point. As for this, really enjoyed it, thank you so very much for this!!!

I think a redemption path for her is definitely coming, our interactions with her alone have been pretty good, I just have the feeling she is not used to having real friends and maybe Andrea may have been there for her from the beginning and that's why she trusts her but she seems to be a bad influence for her.

Before meeting Andrea back at the end of the episode, she was helping in her way by kicking those guys out and she seemed to trust us with everything when we were at the bench, its only when Andrea comes back that she goes back to her bitch self but by the face she makes when leaving I think she regrets that

Yes, its nice that she's showing a little remorse, but I still dislike that we are given almost zero agency with her. I do not like to be forced to play nice when there are so many reasons not to. Until she actually makes a choice and stands up to Andrea, I want nothing to do with her.

I hope that the dev doesn't take too long for her to start making progress towards being a human instead of a harpy, the further she digs the less willing I am to help her out. I hope her arc doesn't only progress if you make mostly selfish choices (as the intro implied), otherwise she's gonna be left out in the cold. In that other game, if you haven't been choosing mostly one side then she completely blows you off in that scene she comes home with a bloody nose. I hope that even if we are choosing mostly the selflessness stuff we can at least make up and be friends.

A similar situation I hope doesn't occur in this game is when the dev favors an LI and doesn't make an effort to make the writing realistic for her. In a different, different game, I'd always ignore one primary LI because she was a bully but just about everyone else on this site looooves her and has her in their sig if they have one for that game. So I played that route once to see if I could stomach it, and I started adding and removing points in my head based on her behavior. She constantly lost points with me but I still chose in her favor to see how bad it would get. She was well into the negatives when the MC thinks "I think I'm in love with her" and I just quit the game. Not gonna bother finishing that path.

Moral of the story is that the window of forgiveness doesn't last very long and if she doesn't hold up that 2nd part of the bet the first time Andrea wants to do something mean, there will not be any.

It's not gonna take long since we're already working on her. That said, I do think she'll fall on the shark side of things when we start getting locked out of content based on our selflessness stat. She only respects MC when he does things to impress her like winning the mock trial despite her cheating or dishing out during their sex scene.

I'm kind of curious to see which LIs fall under which path because it seems pretty nuanced right now. I think Taylor, Miranda, and Olive will fall under being as selfless as possible (the hero path, I'm calling it). Aurora and I think Danielle will want a shark.

Caveat: I mostly play selfless paths, so it may impact parts of what I've seen to-date.

I've noticed several glimpses to there being more to Aurora than the cold personality. I hope on the selfless or neutral path, you'll be able to wriggle more out of her facade. It all seems to depend on if Andrea is there or not. When Andrea is not there:
  • At the movie theater, you see a real person in there in the way she talks and acts. Almost like it's a date she doesn't want to admit to.
  • On the train home from the movie, if you went along with her, you have a pretty deep conversation and see flashes of what I think is the "real" Aurora.
  • At the fountain at night, you see a real person buried in there that likely has been hurt by someone(s). Thus her comments about the strong being on top of the weak. Perhaps she was once on the weaker side?
  • At the party at the square:
    • She stands up for the MC by stopping the two guys bringing alcohol in.
    • She also wants to find and talk to the MC, but then Andrea suddenly appears and Aurora's personality flips instantly to cold and callous.
    • The look of shock and awe on her face if you stand up for her being grabbed by (blanking on his name).

Yeah, thats what I'm hoping doesn't happen, but it most likely will.

If you do the intro scene before the game starts, we're told that Aurora is the selfish path, Olive is the selfless path, and Miranda is the neutral path. It seemed to imply that they were the three main LIs? Or maybe they were just examples from that path and your 'main' LI is a choice made later amongst those also on your path? I dunno.

I remember it being posted earlier. The 9 LIs are Aurora, Danielle, Elsa, Miranda, Olive, Rose, Samara, Sana, and Taylor. Everyone else is side content. I would hope for my OCD sake that it's split 3/3/3, but time will tell. I forgot Miranda was used as an example of neutral, you're right.

I'd be interested to see how this plays out, with the different choices. I definitely didn't pick many selfish options in my save, but I have still had all the scenes with Aurora, so unless it's just dialogue changes, or small variants, there doesn't seem to be anything so far...

I treat it like a certain other college AVN with similar ideas...we're given a chance to taste everyone, and then down the road, we'll get locked out. Entrepreneur started doing it in ep3 but I don't know the scope of Law School so who's to say when. I was full selfless on my first run, and got all the scenes (2 took reloads, being mutually exclusive stuff). I missed 3 images but I was going to wait for another episode before I commit to more routes. When I notice scene lockouts, I'll start to branch out more.

Miranda is the LI shown at the beginning for the neutral path, so she's not going to be on the selfless path.

I am not entirely sure how this selfish / selfless path is going to work, Aurora herself seems to just need a confident person that is there for her but is not scared to call her when on her shit not someone arrogant and selfish that will enable her like Andrea.

Feels like it should be called Assertiveness / kindness or something like that because generally our protagonist behavior has been someone kind to others and more of a teamplayer than say Mike even with the ocassional selfish choice.

Right now that's what it looks like because MisterMaya wants to give us a chance to experience everyone. I think it was explained in the tutorial, how at the start, the stat isn't as important but later on you'll get locked into a route and that will influence which LIs are available, using Olive, Miranda, and Aurora as examples. So for now, you're given opportunities with her but later on lewd scenes will probably be cut off depending on your route, while she still plays a role in the overall plot.
