I thought so because she is always at school but she is not involved with MC as a LI or even a sidegirl which is WHAT BOTHERS SOME PEOPLE...including me
I was unsure if it was a joke or an extreme example of "if you are not on my fuck radar, my mind goes completely blank".
Despite not having main or side girl status, she has a pretty big presence, even her own storyline/secret.

I think this is rough twice a year game maybe a bit more but less than a year.
I hope so, Law School looked to me like it had a faster release schedule before Steam launching, so I'm starting to worry.

This last year all games I'm playing decided for the once a year BS schedule. So after 4 years heavy into AVNs, these huge gaps are making me becoming uninterested and when I'm actuallly playing one I'm feeling guilty for wasting this precious resource that takes a 1 year wait for more

All of the previous updates have been 6 months from each other, give or take a few days, so currently we can't say it has slowed down yet. Considering episode 3 was released on 17th of June this year, we can't say the next episode is "late" until this year's Christmas has come and gone.

Yeah it's one month away of the previous schedule, but I get the feeling we won't be playing next episode before Christmas...

Now I'm caught up. Went for Elsa's route, think she might be my favorite atm, also easy to do since I don't have to stop being "Paragon". Got 3 other route's I'm going through again to set up, Miranda, Rose and Goth Mommy, I mean Goth Mom- Samara! Likely a couple others but those are my main focus.

Pretty much up there as one of my favorite VN's, regret finding It so early, the wait will be painful!

That's pretty much what happens with most successful games, the devs become more ambitious with their scope and that means more quality but also bigger waiting times.
True. Especially now that in season 2 the personality will finally make a difference, that could be the case here as well. It all depends on how personality will have an impact on branching paths.

It could be as simple as just adding some extra scenes with girls that you can only choose with a certain personality and maybe some difference in dialogue to something as complicated as exclusive storylines with many scenes per girl/personality you've chosen. We shall see how it pans out.

The episodes are bigger than average, so 6 months so far is really not bad. Shows the dev has been working hard.

But it wouldn't surprise me if they start slipping over that, it's just kinda what happens as the game gets more popular and the bar gets raised, along with likely branching.

I personally dislike shorter episodes that have shorter dev times, every time you play the new update, just as you're getting into it again, the episode ends. I find it very annoying. So while one year is a long time, usually the updates are satisfying.

It just kinda is what it is, but if you have a lot of games in the play-cycle, like double digits, then sometimes you get spikes of multiple updates in a month which then feels like xmas after a long wait.

We haven't got a clear release but looking at the cycle of Mistermaya he will do his best to release in december. That was the goal. And with all previous releases he kept the promise. So december a lot of eyecandy for us.

Honestly, I don’t have a problem with Maya’s release cycle. His game is REALLY good, one of my top favorites and his updates are pretty big, whether we’re talking render size or content in general.

I do get your point, though. The longer the gap between releases, the easier it is to lose interest in some VNs. There are a couple I play where that’s already happened, and I’ve actually been replaying one recently just to refresh my memory on the story, but I like that one enough that I don’t lose interest, which is pretty rare for me.

On the flip side, I tried replaying LS just for fun because I enjoy it, but I kept catching myself skipping through large chunks of it. I guess it’s kind of like rereading a book, you already know what’s coming, so it doesn’t hit the same way. But then again, I’ve watched certain movies over and over without ever getting tired of them, so it’s weird how that works. Hmm…

But for LS, the release schedule is what about every 3 to 6 months? That’s not bad at all, especially considering the amount of content we get with each update. anyway, I'm just looking forward to more content with Elsa, Olive and our child-hood friend totally didn't forget her name.
