easy to answer.. most of the girls need to get a background with MC.. guess what.. ROSE ALREADY HAS IT.. she needs no developement in that aspect.. only in the love area.. and guess what.. most of the girls didnt have that either.. unless u consider couple kisses or a fuck a development.. XD
What do you mean they didn't have any development? Taylor, Miranda, Olive, Aurora, Elsa... They all had great development in their relationships with MC. Aurora went from the bully who everyone hates to the lovestruck girl who put her whole career in line for MC and can't stop wanting to be near him all the time. Taylor opened up about her trauma, something she had only told Samara, to MC and is comfortable in being vulnerable to him. Elsa is basically risking her job and career. Miranda trusted MC with who she is and opened up to him about her condition, which in turn she was happy to see how he accept her and even started learning sign language to be able to speak with her. Olive went from the shy girl who was secretly taking pictures of everyone because she can barely talk to anyone, to someone who is able to assert herself at times and make friends.
they had friendship development... not romantic..unless u consider what happened with taylor, olive, miri, aurora or samara a romance... they are getting close but call anything of that a romance is way to much. Guess what Mc already has with rose.. they are already close!! so her developement is not so "impactfull"
I agree rose gets sidelined a lot. She is the last person to find out about stuff a lot of the time and we the MC are still hiding stuff from her like every other girl we are banging besides lana she knows about lana. I think it gets acknowledged that in ep4 when you tell rose about the letter and if you admit you told aurora first. I think going forward rose will get more attention. At least she should. Even if we are on the friend path with her I think we deserve the chance/choice to get her input on the girls we are banging and other things developing. Will is even starting to become a better best friend than rose and even Alan the MC seems to rely on them more than rose for everything. Rose is still ahead because of amount of time she has been the MC's friend but the gap is closing.
That is correct, currently it seems that a few choices matter, but not many.

Yeah, but this is what is weird. Why can't I change my mind here and pursue her? It's not like she had much development at all in Season 1. So its bullshit that I get completely locked out of her path just because of a choice I made in a single scene whatever many episodes ago in the past season.
The only lore reasons I can think off is that Sana is still feeling hurt and doesn't want to give MC a second chance or that she thinks MC could never seriously change his mind in such a short amount of time. She does seem like a character that would take such a thing this serious to me.
