Law School Episode 4 - Progress update #11
Hello everyone,
Last week was close to being a disaster, but thankfully I engaged in a bum off Saturday and man did it save my week.
I was still dealing with my gym injury, which is finally starting to heal. On top of that, my internet kept disconnecting (my relays weren’t communicating properly), so I lost a lot of time trying to fix it. Even as I write this, it has crashed again. The issue is in the fact that some textures, assets, and the scenes files are loaded in the synology, and without internet, my synology doesn't work, which impacts my render computers that can't move on to the next scene. So I was constantly interrupting my work to fix it, which stops my flow.
To make things worse, I was also hitting that scene fatigue since I spent so much time working wiht the same LI. Overall, things were not looking good.
Despite that, I managed to finish the lewd scene, the cuddles, and with that, wrap up DAY 3 on Friday. Between the date, the lewd, the cuddles, and everything else, that section took me about 16 days. By the end, I was more than ready to move on from that scene and that LI.
Saturday turned everything around. I joined a bum off with other devs and managed to complete about 120 renders in 24 hours. That really saved my week, and I was happy with the result. On Sunday I was tired and still fighting internet issues, so I didn’t get much done. Here are the current numbers for this episode:
- Static renders: 1,732
- Animations: 36
- Story content: 28 scenes written (23,581 words)
Right now, the queue is pretty full. I have about 300 renders and 16 animations waiting. Since I’ll only be away until the end of the week, the queue probably won’t be cleared before I return, which is actually a good thing.
I’ve now moved on to DAY 4, which is the second to last day of this update and also the biggest one. While I won’t be able to work on 3D content during the week, I plan to keep writing whenever I can, whether on the plane or in the mornings. My hope is to finish writing this chapter while on holiday so I can focus fully on 3D work once I’m back. Timing looks good for an update in 2025, which was always my goal for episode 4.
So we keep moving forward. I’ll use these holidays to recharge and come back ready to finish this episode.
There won’t be an update next Monday since I don’t expect to have much to share. Today I'll be preparing the render queues, setting up long distance control of the PCs, and yet again, trying to fix my internet issue (BOYCOTT ASUS!!)

I really hope something like this will happen in the future. Even in AVNs I don't really like it that almost everyone just accepts it that MC is screwing around with multiple girls at once, if the AVN otherwise is pretty grounded in reality like this one is.

Yep, unless there are consequences to screwing around then the VN may as well be harem, which this one isn't. I get it at the moment because he technically isn't in a relationship with anyone, but even so I would expect a little jealousy.

And we can already see that jealousy in Rose and maybe in Lana (when she asks whose kiss you liked more). It could be that I forgot or missed some other jealous moments.

Well as of now we aren't really in any serious relationship with anyone but supposedly this new season is about properly getting in a relationship so I imagine if you try conflict may happen, although I am not sure how much relationship conflicts are going to be the focus in this game.

Well, as mentioned earlier in this thread, looking at the phone it seems possible to (unless MM programs otherwise) date 2 best friends at once (Taylor and Samara) or have sex with a girl while also dating her best friend (Miranda and Sienna). I doubt both pairs will be happy with MC doing it with both of them, so there is at least a likely conflict there.

If that happens, I totally am fine with it to. It is just, the creator should make it clear in these games. What is the point of "no return", because if the women suddenly are not fine with it, it just makes the story worse. I know women can be fickle, but how realistic should we take a VN's story

I don’t see it as jealousy,until now Rose considers mc only a friend (at least in my save).At best case she is unsure about her feelings.

It's definitely jealousy, which confuses her because she's been platonic with him up till that point.

Jack is trying to catch the Mc, instead of Aurora hiding in the bush she should *Holds* the hand of the Mc and both of them runs away goes to her dorm. Aurora treats his injury Love Tension rises then both of them kiss each other, then Andrea opens the door and caught them. EASY PC Romance shit what a wasted opportunity

I wonder if there is different dialogue if u aren’t/are on Rose or same dialogue?(just different scenes)

There's no paths at that point so not sure what you mean by being on Rose.
