Yes its idiocy if this dream is the become the "worlds best lawyer", thats not the same like for example "wants to become a great lawyer to help people" or whatever you just said. And very explicit about his desire to be "the best". Its childish because its 1) unrealistic, 2) doesnt really matter if its about helping people, 3) there simply doesnt exist anything like "the worlds best lawyer".

There are unlimited lawyers for different fields in this world and a overly moral bound perspective actually isnt helping if its about being "the best".

It just feels more like a 8 year old wanting to become astronaut than a very smart and educated guy with a serious and realistic lifegoal.

A guy whose afraid he committed theft for picking up a basketball at college will simply never end up as the "best lawyer" and law is just like the worst profession for a wishy washy upstanding approach and become the best like that. Whats this obsession about being "the best" about if hes simply a good guy who wants to help people? Is he Cristiano Ronaldo?

If you think the MC is awesome thats great for you but to consider his behavior not "goofy" i dunno if we played the same avn. A goofy MC can be awesome btw and its not like thats bad in itself.

So my dislike over the MC's is potrayal ... petty and childish ... ? Why lol?

Don't get so excited ,this is just a VN. Let your imagination run wild like we all do and relax. The alternative would be to focus your attention on other games that better match your expectation. Sorry for my poor english.

Law School Episode 4 - Progress update #14

Morning everyone,
I’m not going to sugarcoat it, last week wasn’t one of my best. My focus just wasn’t there, and I ended up spending more time than I should have on two of the big scenes I was looking forward to. One of them even ended up shorter than planned. Some of the dialogue felt out of place, so I decided to save it for a later scene. I’m not sure why things went so slowly, but it is what it is.
I also had some trouble with the new language I added to the Steam version and spent a bit of time each day trying to fix it until Wednesday. Maybe that played a part too.
The good news is that those scenes are finally behind me. I’ve got three short scenes and one big one left for this day, and I’m hoping to finish them all this week. It’ll be a challenge, but it would be great to start next week working on the final day.
Here are the numbers:

• Static renders: 2,333
• Animations: 46
• Story content: 42 scenes written (33,625 words)

That’s only 124 new renders since last week, which I’m not thrilled about considering how much time I spent at the computer. Hopefully this week will be better.
Timing-wise, I’m still on track with my overall plan. Even though we'll be looking at over 3k renders for this update unfortunately, I'm still seeing a release before the end of this year. I also decided to add another lewd scene earlier in the story since it fits naturally there. These scenes don’t really worry me anymore now that I’m more confident with animation. Honestly, I’m even looking forward to making this one.

This new pathing system really works my brain, but I’m enjoying it. Before, the MC was very open to player choices, but now I can give him a stronger personality. You still have plenty of choices, but the dialogue now fits his character better, and many scenes can play out in different ways. It feels like the right approach, even if it means more work behind the scenes. The replay value is much higher now, since a new playthrough can truly feel like a fresh experience if you pick another path.
Anyway, that’s already a lot of words for a week that didn’t produce much, so I’ll stop here. Time to get back to work and make some real progress. I hope you all have a great week, and I’ll see you next time.

So what are we looking at, 6-7 weeks for release? 1 week to finish the day, 3-4 weeks to finish the last day, and 2 weeks for testing? Seeing that MM released Ep3 with less than 2 weeks of testing, I wouldnt be surprised that we get a release first week of December. But the thing is, MM usually does 200 renders/week, which would mean about 4 weeks to get to the 3k goal, so what I dont get is why MM is not confident to say that there will be a release before the end of the year when there are about 4 weeks to spare

Plus we saw Rose in preview pic, this episode and maybe Danielle, can't remember for her.

So I would guess either Sana or Samara is the one he is talking about. Both really didn't get much in season 1 besides a morning run and a couple Samara run ins. So I think its more likely to be one of those two he is talking about I think.

No that is a separate meeting. This one is mandatory based on our fight with that one dude and not getting kicked out or expelled, it was an added condition to staying. Danielle is our twice a week meetings.

Calling it idiocy to aspire to be the best at something seems to lack common sense. You sound like an elementary school bully dogging on someone just because of their aspiration.

I don't think Danielle is that important for the rest of the story but i would be happy if, for example, Miranda got her voice back or the mystery surrounding Sana and Viktor's relationship was solved. And i would really to know who the hell Rose's roommate is!

Well she's a main girl, so we can pretty sure Danielle will be important to the rest of the story.

What I am still curious about, is if we get to meet the lady Danielle knows with Aurora's last name and if Aurora and her are somehow connected without Aurora knowing about it.

There are still many questions left to answer (I can probably easily think of about 10 unanswered lore questions) and I wonder how many of those will be answered in the upcoming 2 seasons.

You sound like someone who insults other people because they dare to criticize something you like.

If youre unable to comprehend how its rather stupid/immature to want to be "the worlds best laywer" - and not as a kid, no, while youre already studying - (but not even at a college/university... ) , i cant help you sorry.

And i wasnt even blaming the aspiration per se (even tho thats still stupid/nonsensical in a wide field like law) but the conflict with the MC's otherwise naive and goofy attitude.

Its like he has the intentions and the charm but lacks anything else, everyone who is impressed by his speeches is ... i dunno ... i dont want to judge.

But this point isnt really worth the discussion, i suspect thats why youre so deadset on it in the first place. If you like the MC, good for you and i you feel the urge to insult me because i see him as contradicting ... whatever.

You know who deserves to be a main girl? Lana! And yes , that was a very awkward moment when she asked Aurora if she was Francisca's daughter...as if she knew something..

I agree with you, although both are very sexy( I think that Aurora is gorgeous ) and Lana definitely has an amazing body and it's a shame that she is not a main character, but I can't stand Aurora's personality, she would probably be in my top 4 if it wasn't for the way she acted, and I think Andrea is the POS that is making Aurora act like she is, and even if Aurora wakes up and realizes her harmful actions it's too late because first impressions are everything

Sex animations in this game are extremely laggy for me, and the game itself send my CPU temperature to stellar levels (I'm talking about going from 50°C to over 80°C). This doesn't happen with any other VN on this site, nor with any modern game I own. Anyone else experienced something similar? Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do? TIA!

yeah it makes zero sense to me over someone like what's her name Sana or whatever tho Lana is still my favorite and I have a Lana / Monk path just to pretend she is a main girl anyways

I disagree. I've already experienced it plenty of times that I didn't like a girl at first, but that I later loved them because we get to know them better and hopefully know why they acted the way they did at first.

I don't like Aurora yet, but there is a very realistic possibility that I will in the future if we find out why she acts like a bully and why she still stays friends with Andrea. We've already seen that Aurora is the "leader" (for lack of a better word) of the two, so it could be that she's just protecting Lana and her friends by preventing Andrea to do even worse stuff. Andrea already has nagged Aurora to finally cash in on the blackmail, so we know that without Aurora, Andrea would act much worse and impulsive.

Hopefully we'll learn more about why she was a bully and I hope it isn't something cliché like "It was either becoming the bully or be the one bullied on".
