Yes, its nice that she's showing a little remorse, but I still dislike that we are given almost zero agency with her. I do not like to be forced to play nice when there are so many reasons not to. Until she actually makes a choice and stands up to Andrea, I want nothing to do with her.
I hope that the dev doesn't take too long for her to start making progress towards being a human instead of a harpy, the further she digs the less willing I am to help her out. I hope her arc doesn't only progress if you make mostly selfish choices (as the intro implied), otherwise she's gonna be left out in the cold. In that other game, if you haven't been choosing mostly one side then she completely blows you off in that scene she comes home with a bloody nose. I hope that even if we are choosing mostly the selflessness stuff we can at least make up and be friends.
A similar situation I hope doesn't occur in this game is when the dev favors an LI and doesn't make an effort to make the writing realistic for her. In a different, different game, I'd always ignore one primary LI because she was a bully but just about everyone else on this site looooves her and has her in their sig if they have one for that game. So I played that route once to see if I could stomach it, and I started adding and removing points in my head based on her behavior. She constantly lost points with me but I still chose in her favor to see how bad it would get. She was well into the negatives when the MC thinks "I think I'm in love with her" and I just quit the game. Not gonna bother finishing that path.
Moral of the story is that the window of forgiveness doesn't last very long and if she doesn't hold up that 2nd part of the bet the first time Andrea wants to do something mean, there will not be any.
