Replaying this scene today and Taylor really went from the shock of "MC, are you looking at my panties?!?" to "Wanna watch the stars?" less than 10 lines later. I can't decide if this is due to MC's charisma, her charisma, or if we just really needed to turn a funny/awkward moment into a romantic one at lightspeed.
