I did not encounter any forced content in my playthrough. I did however play the FMC as rejecting all old/disgusting/unattractive men throughout, so I may have ended up on a different path. It is possible that if FMC accepted a corrupt choice before that then the content could be forced, but I have not played that route.

This was great, I enjoyed the Episode 5 update (non-corrupt path). No forced content on my playthrough.

Minor bug: I noticed that the music played after FMC is accepted for the front desk was very loud and not responsive to the volume control.

It would be great if the FMC could have some LI options that are attractive and plausible for her.

Does anyone know when the lesbian path may open up, ep5 and it looks like Layla has a crush on Roy, they only spoke for about 20 minutes and she is crushing on him already, Not looking good for a Lesbian route if she can fall for some man after such a short time on a tour of her new place of employment. I was hoping that kind of crushing on someone would be more choice-based rather than pushed a certain way.

Yeah... this was alright at first until all the Roy stuff started.

Either way, that really soured the game for me (the whole Roy obsession). Was decent at first, but after that, yeah. Just really ruined it being forced to be into Roy. Still, best of luck with this and thanks.

Considering the large number of negative reviews regarding Roy, I’d like to clarify something. I didn’t name the game Shattered Hopes for no reason — Roy isn't the end of the road, only the beginning, which will lead to further plot development.
I intentionally didn't give the player a choice to be in a relationship with Roy or not — it's all part of the story that will lead to important events and choices later on. She will face many trials ahead, even on the City Route. As for her falling for Roy too quickly… well, you can't command the heart.

Yeah, sure... the heart. Because meeting someone for the very first time and only for a few minutes makes you instantly fall in love with them when you know absolutely nothing about that person. The only thing she knows about Roy; is his name is Roy. All they talked about was her duties at the hotel. But sure... the heart wants what the heart wants, even if it is a complete nobody that she knows absolutely nothing about.

I mean, you gave us choices to command everything else that dealt with the heart, but sure, whatever. Well, at least we know there won't be any pure lesbian path now, since you're going to force Roy on the player without a choice. Roy is completely unappealing, so yeah. That ruins the game for me.

Hate when a LI is forced on you for "plot reasons". Because it is never a good reason. Especially when it is a LI that is completely unappealing and not interesting at all. Not every character will appeal to every player, thus why we like choices on that stuff. But forcing it on them when they don't like that character? Yeah, it just ruins the whole game.

So yeah, not for me. That just makes me lose interest entirely. But you seem to have an audience who doesn't care either way, so good on that at least for you. Either way, thanks still.

The Roy plot made no sense, I feel like you're rushing to set up some kind of a storyline there that maybe needs more time in the oven, the way it is building up currently is unnatural. Micheal would have been a far more realistic target for MCs crush, and maybe you could make Roy the one to fall for the MC at first sight, thus setting up some ground for future conflict.

There were also no choices in this update, which is not ideal, but it's only one update, so it's fine I guess.

That actually makes sense. I don't have experience with lesbian storylines — looks like I really made a mistake for those wanting a lesbian route. My sincere apologies. Lack of experience, I guess.

Its an easy fix if you intend to have a lesbian route, just don't force Roy onto the player, Jody who Layla is working with could have been a crush/LI since they will be spending so much time working together, and jody has already told Leyla that she is a lesbian, That would have been the ideal pace to set the lesbian route. you mention cheating as part of "the city route" will that be forced or by choice, Like someone else mentioned it's your Novel to do as you please, most of us will just give you feedback, its down to you if you take it as an insult to your intended story or if you find it helpful to help you moving forward.

Layla has ended up in a really shitty situation (more details will be revealed in Episode 6). In the next episode, she can still refuse to have sex, but unfortunately, getting out of this branch unscathed won't be possible. I'm truly sorry about that.

I do not see why you should have to give up a planned Lesbian route, You could go back and add an option to not do anything with Roy in EP5, it could be a simple as do i like Roy as a lover or just a friend, this then keeps the lesbian route open further along when you decide to add it and keeps Roy a LI for non lesbian route, or maybe the next update Leyla chooses Roy is more a friend than a lover keeping the Lesbian route open, Ive seen plenty of Devs change an already released update to improve or fix the story and planned routes.
