And that's how you actually encourage piracy. You announce & eventually release a localized version of a years old game ... only to release an inferior/incomplete version of it.

At least the big boys have figured this one out. When they re-release games on other platforms or even re-localize something form Japan to the West, at least they come out with some kind of 'Complete Edition'.

Stuff like that kind of makes me just wanna go get the JPN complete version and just MTool the heck out of it.

Only advantage it's got over the original is of course the censorship, since apparently Dieselmine has that patch. After all, AI translations have come a long way and are fine enough to play as a compromise for half an extra game of content.

If the DLC is a 'post game' kind of thing you might think to finish the official, then transfer the save to a AI translated JPN version with the DLC. But overall that save will bomb the game.

Honestly, it was easier for me to just do the translation from scratch lol.
But because of that, I ended up writing a program to port translations for any RPG Maker MV/MZ game.
I also had to write a separate tool for extracting/inserting the text, to make it easier to translate new strings.
Now, we can get started on the editing/translation.
