Ok, so I cried at chapter 6's ending, and I cried seeing this sneak peak. Damn, Drifty, don't do that to me, bro! My heart can't handle it! Can't wait for next chapter!

Dev Diary, November 26th, 2021
Hey guys. Hope you enjoyed the Chapter 7 release date video. Well, it was mostly animations you've seen already, but there should be some new ones in there. And with that song in the background and it's lyrics, you should have a good idea by now what mood we're in during this chapter.
I told you last dev diary that I was going to do scripting this week, but ended up doing most everything else instead. But progress is still progress, so there's a decent boost in renders in addition to getting the video done and doing some prepwork for the Steam release.
Story renders are now at 1,226 and animated frames breaking the 10k mark with 10,244 finished.
A little insight to my thought process of chapter 7. It was always meant to be a sensual chapter as opposed to a sexual one, which fit well in the earlier parts of the chapter. Now in the later parts, and the mood's changed I've spotted lots of 'opportunities' to add for some additional fun. So I've decided to add lewd scenes where I can. There is no way I will be able to add lewd for all the girls with the amount of work I have left in addition to this, but I'll try to be fair to the girls and go by who you've been the longest time without any fun with.

It's clearly been a busy week. Drifty completed 104 story renders and 1966 frames of animation in the last week. His overall average is now at 102 story renders and 854 frames of animation per week since Chapter 6 launched. Here are the charts:

It's neat that Drifty is adding more lewd scenes, but I'm not sure I agree with his assignment criteria. Linda, Kira and Robin all had lewd scenes in the last chapter, but I'd much rather they the extras this time because their storylines have been so woefully underdeveloped. Those three need extra time in the sun more than Steph, and far more than Lexi. Guess we'll see what happens.

I don't know you personally, Drifty. But let me just tell you that this is the best visual novel game that I've played in all my life. I've played more than 50 games of many genres in this scene, but yours...yours was the absolute best. The ending of CH.6 took quite a toll on me, I rarely ever cry from a game especially not an adult one, but this one really hit me right in the feels. Absolutely FANTASTIC writing. Gorgeous renders and animations. I don't know if you'll see this comment, Drifty, but I want you to know that you have my utmost respect and love and I am certainly looking for more content from you in the future. You might just have helped a generation with your story. Thank you again, friend❤

I don't know what to say... I'm not used to be share my thoughts, especially when it's about my feelings, but now i feel i have to share my thought, and i think this is the best place for that...
In the last 15 minutes I'm just staring at my monitor and trying to hold myself together... I can't even imagine how Drafty's could handle that thing what he's trying tell us, but i'm glad he's doing well now(I think he's fine, because he able to tell this story, right?)
I really like the story and the way how is he telling us. It's like an emotional rollercoaster. One moment everything was good with a lot of funny things, but in no time everything went dark, and you were overwhelmed by emotions. Of course i can't hold it back at the end
I planned to go through Lexi's route when i finished the available chapters, but after the ends of Ch.6, i think i need some time to clear my head...
I feel i can write hundreds of pages about what's in my mind now, but i think that's enough for this time.

Gotta say Lexi is my main girl in this game, however I just found a song that represents Cece so much. Its called "Would any one care" by Citizen Solider. The song was so good that it brought a tear to my eye cause for some reason Cece popped up in my head when I heard it.

Listened to that song. Got real dusty in here all of a sudden. Dust got in my eyes... Damn man...
Cant say it was completely unpredictable at least not in the extend of AL but damn something about that character made me jump (in a good way) everytime her face got in the frame. I really cant put my finger on it. Maybe Drifty is just a master of waking every single protective instinct in people subliminally.

I thought I'd give a post to clarify when you can expect to download Chapter 7 of Leap of Faith based on your current support tier.
I've tried to do this as fair as possible, especially with my long time supporters in mind.

Oh man, don't mention it. That game devastated me... I can't even slept through the next 3 days after I finished that game.
But this one is something else... This one isn't just a dramatic twist.
I can't explain it properly because of my language limitation, but you can feel it when you go through the story.
I think the main plot is based on real experience, and Drifty's just trying to share his own story.
Or I'm completely wrong, and he's just an awesome writer, but i prefer to believe the first one.
