I made it to Lexi's mansion before I finally caved in and hit the Skip Text button.
The plot, beyond the ludicrous "gorgeous pop star (who is almost a virgin) lets a group of random strangers live with her for two weeks simply because she had a really great conversation with a guy at a bar," goes completely over the shark with the Homeland Security/Witness Protection revelation.
And there's just SO. MUCH. PADDING.
The dance sequence where the girls clean the mansion in their underwear, cameos from characters from other VNs, the subplot with MCs dad and sister, the entire yacht trip with Lexi and Holly, the "guess the underwear" minigame, the music video after they get on the plane the first time, CeCe and Kevin's conversation during the party to celebrate her recovery, the "2nd Prom" for Kira and Robin, Steph and MC go diving and THEN have a second conversation afterwards, etc.
It just goes on and on and that's time that should have been used for more sex scenes.
Why is MC sunbathing on a massage table? Are there no lawn chairs for sale on the DAZ store?
And apparently Drifty has never heard of the concept of boundaries in real life. Robin tells him she doesn't want to see him and he's all "See you in a few minutes." Why didn't that scene end with Robin screaming at MC when he showed up at the bowling alley?
If anything, I'm disappointed the MC was the same age as the other girls (hinted to be about 24-25). The thing would have made more sense if he and Steph had been late 30's/early 40's, experienced people who would be able to offer the life advice that MC offers to the girls.
So basically, it's not just the game for you, and that's okay.
The game was never intended to be focused on sex scenes and was more about a really fun and beautiful story (with individual stories in it) with some adult themes and scenes than an actual sex game. For this story to work, a fuckfest wouldn't work at all.
For the other point, I really don't see a problem in that, but if you don't want to read and want to go from sex scenes to sex scenes, I understand it would be boring for you.
Also, do you understand the concept of boundaries? Robin tells him she doesn't want him to come in the same way we often answer with a "I'm fine" when we are not. She actually doesn't want him to come because she's feeling down and don't want to be a burden or something like that for him. If you played the game and read it before skipping all the text, you should know that MC pretty much respect everybody boundaries in the game. So, that's point doesn't work at all if you played the game like it should.
I don't really have a problem with the age too, I think it wouldn't make sense at all to have a bunch of 40 years old people hanging out with a mid 20s pop star, like
Elhemeer said. Again, not for what the story is.
But I see your point with the spy thing, it's probably the only thing that are a problem in the game. But since the story is so amazingly written and beautiful, I give it a pass because it's not the end of the world.
