Lexi's isn't, but Holly solo path is heartbreaking for Lexi...I played Cece's path (which I am confident is the true heroine of the game) a while ago.
Is Lexi path heartbreaking? I am craving some despair.

Okay, never did the screw Kira and Robin paths ... that explains the missing scenes. It becomes heartbreaking if you bring Holly in a 3-way relationship with Lexi and then decide to be only with Holly and dump Lexi at the end. To add drama you can set up Chris with Robin and break Kira & Robin relationship as well (or tell Kira that you're not ok with 3-way relationship at the beginning of the game AND not set up Chris with Robin or everybody else - then they will break up and stay single - even worse). 2-3 sneaky bastardish moves in one playthrough. If it's still not enough, you can also left Steph unforgiven and not invite her to the Lexi's place to add more on the top of this pile of shit and Linda also stays single then. Probably the worst ending you can achieve. While the Cece path on the contrary allows you to make everyone happy if you want to (Lexi + Holly, Kira + Robin, Linda + Chris, Steph is happy to back to her work and be forgiven, MC + Cece and she doesn't left, all girls stays in touch and remains good friends).
You haven't even scratched the surface ... Probably the most definitive (for their games) are:I know what you mean, like I said it just for me, it's "feels" that way for me. I did the Steph's path first and even with the weird super spy thing, it just felt right if I can say.
But I think all paths are writing in a sense to not only send a message, like you said, but also to be wholesome and amazing in their own way.
For the cameos, I know I saw Lexi & Cece in Fog of War.
Ohhh, I actually played Chasing Sunsets, you're right, it slipped my mind! You haven't even scratched the surface ... Probably the most definitive (for their games) are:
For Lexi ending: Artemis (she has a couple of actual appearances, including more playing with the matching MCs) and Chasing Sunsets (the other side of the selfie and a newspaper clipping announcing the engagement)
and for Cece ending: Dreams of Reality (the full conversation with the lady outside the hospital)
Artemis is Top Tier. The other one I'm still going to play eventually, but it was harder to get into.Ohhh, I actually played Chasing Sunsets, you're right, it slipped my mind!
The two other games are now in my watchlist, I'll check to downloaded them tonight. Thanks!
If you've not played the "other one" at all yet, then you're in better shape than me. I played it up to release 6 or 7, and then they changed the RenPy engine in the next release and borked saves for a bunch of people. With all the "achievements" in the VN, I had many different routes going, and now I'm at least two releases behind since I'm not ready to do a full replay of every route. I'm doing a couple of "Finales" that will keep me busy for at least a week or two and I'm debating whether I go back and do that one, or try one of the ones I haven't started yet that looks really good - there are many on the list, but two or three that stand out based on feedback I've seen from people I respect here.Artemis is Top Tier. The other one I'm still going to play eventually, but it was harder to get into.
Congrats on the play through. Dont worry about Lexi on your Cece run, she still finds happiness, so go for it. Drifty does very well at making sure that most of the girls have a happy ending option even when you don't choose them, you don't have to feel bad because you chose someone else. Now there is just one question: where can I find the real Lexi? Because I would really like to have a few words with her. ^^
I will definitely do a second run, this time with Cece. But to be honest, I think it will be really hard for me to give Lexi the cold shoulder.
Lexi doesn't always find happiness if you make one specific choice.Congrats on the play through. Dont worry about Lexi on your Cece run, she still finds happiness, so go for it. As for the real Lexi, if there was one, she'd be mine, so back off.![]()
Congratulations on your first run.So, I finished my first playthrough…
The game is amazing, so much better than most other adult games, and certainly one of the best, if not the best, AVN I have played so far. It’s not because of the lewd content but because of this heartbreaking, beautiful story. The story feels quite realistic as well. So there is no violence or rape included, as well as no harem ending like in so many other AVNs. It is just pretty straight-forward romance, and I kind of like that very much.
As mentioned earlier, I went with Alexandra for my first run, and I haven’t regretted this decision. Of course, it might not be realistic for a “normal” guy and a pop star to fall in love, but it works in movies like “Notting Hill” too. And I can’t say anything against a bit of fantasy in a novel.

Yes, Lexi does have a sad ending(if you know all of the specific things that you have to do at the right times to actually get that one) But, I didn't say that the girls ALWAYS have happy endings, I said that they all have "a" (as in at least one) happy ending "option"(as in choice). Obviously you don't have to go for the happy ending if you want to screw Lexi over...Lexi doesn't always find happiness if you make one specific choice.
Going for Cece or Steph and making the right choices allow for the "best" ending for the group with the least number of single people.
For Lexi specifically, you seemed to imply in your spoiler that she always does find happiness during a Cece run.Yes, Lexi does have a sad ending(if you know all of the specific things that you have to do at the right times to actually get that one) But, I didn't say that the girls ALWAYS have happy endings, I said that they all have "a" (as in at least one) happy ending "option"(as in choice). I understand what your saying completely, and it is tough in the moment when you dont choose her, but in one ending she still ends up happy and in love (if you don't set Chris up with Holly)For Lexi specifically, you seemed to imply in your spoiler that she always does find happiness during a Cece run.
And besides Cece and Linda, Lexi gets really close to MC and is really bummed out not being chosen. It's really pulling on our (heart)strings I have to use my other hand to force the hand on the mouse to choose another girl in that 4th episode
I think that is why so many other games yse her route as canon for their game.Who could really resist Lexi - she's a dream, a gorgeous friendly multi-millionaire without a snotty attitude!
Yes, nearly everyone had a good ending in my playthrough, except for Cece, she was pretty lonely at the end. But I guess this has to do something with Chris. Because I coupled Chris with Linda.Congrats on the play through. Dont worry about Lexi on your Cece run, she still finds happiness, so go for it. Drifty does very well at making sure that most of the girls have a happy ending option even when you don't choose them, you don't have to feel bad because you chose someone else.
Well, you can have your relationship with her. As I said, I would just like to meet her and have a few words. I don’t think that I would like to be in a relationship with her. ^^As for the real Lexi, if there was one, she'd be mine, so back off.![]()
I think so too. Chapter six will be less emotional than it was in the first run, because you already know what’s going to happen.Doing Lexi first made my Cece run far less impactful and I found Steph to have much more impact in subsequent runs.
To me, it feels like Lexi is a bit inspired by Taylor Swift. (I'm not a fan, and I don't know any of her song, so that might just be a false impression). So if you want to meet the real Lexi, you could start there
There is no need for my Lexi to be a pop star or a millionaire; I would even prefer a “normal” person over a pop star. But I still like the way she is. She is very kind, forgiving, smart, and she seems to reflect herself a lot.Who could really resist Lexi - she's a dream, a gorgeous friendly multi-millionaire without a snotty attitude!
I mean, that's kinda the point of the Lexi path, don't you think? There is no need for my Lexi to be a pop star or a millionaire; I would even prefer a “normal” person over a pop star.
they are similar in that they are both super successful and rich, can pretty much produce new successful songs on demand, enjoy music for themselves first, love performing for their fans, their private life is scrutinized, they had bad luck in love for a very long time (and bad boyfriends), found love in an unexpected place, LA mansion, etc.I’m not a Taylor Swift fan either, so I can’t say much about it. But from what I know, I’m not sure that Taylor Swift is so much like Lexi.![]()
depends what you mean by that.I mean, that's kinda the point of the Lexi path, don't you think?
