Why does everything have to be harem or ntr or cheating… why cant folks enjoy games like this with a great story
I like a harem game as much as many people here, but this game was perfection the way it is and it would never work as a harem game.

For purely practical reasons I could wish you made the final choice later - simply because it's a big time investment to play each path (and I'm low on time these days), but that would also mess with the almost perfect balance of the game. So that's how it is.

To be fair, Mighty was complaining about another post where someone was complaining that it's not a harem game ...

Hello guys! I'm about to start this AVN now and as I can see there different LI's and routes. Could you suggest or recommend an order of play with the several LI's so that it reveals less at the first and only delivers the entire plot with the last?

That's not how it works. It's just the path to your favorite girl and more information about the one you choose to be in a relationship with.

Personally, I tried Steph's path first, after that Cece, etc, but without spoiling everything, no matter who you choose, the story is in a big part the same. Just play your first playthrough with your favorite LI and after that, do other playthrough, it's worth it!

I completely agree with this ... with one minor caveat: Don't do Cece's route first unless she's the ONLY one you're attracted to / interested in. I won't say why, but overall All the girls' are worth their individual (or paired for some) story.

I agree with that part, it felt kind of too early to make that choice. I couldn't find a reason to feel like MC would have felt in love at that point. I mean even with Steph it would be kind of rushed to forget a whole two years.

Look at it this way: There's a clear sense of heightened emotions throughout the game, and the dev has said the game is an exploration of one summer in the lives of these people that changed them forever. Also, You're supposed to be at Lexi's place between 2-3-4 weeks (time isn't that stable in this game). Yes, chapter 4 starts the day after you arrive, but it doesn't end until some time has passed, so there is definitely time for feelings to grow between the start of the chapter and the end of it.

The real point though, is you -- the player -- are making the choice at the beginning of chapter 4. The MC isn't actually making a choice in that moment, he's only realizing he can't get a particular someone(s) off his mind.

Now, you as the player may feel you're not ready to make that choice, and that's fine. But the MC doesn't really start making that choice until the moment with Linda after Matt's text. If you chose her, then everything stops 'cause the MC realizes his choice. If you chose Cece or Steph, the MC continues to their moments. If you choose Lexi or the Bobbsey Twins, your choice leads to the date after all those moments (although Steph gets left out here, but you can imagine still having some kind of moment with her), but the MC still doesn't actually make a final choice until during the dates.

So yes, if you the player feel that the chapter 4 choice is rushed FOR YOU, that's completely valid. But to say that the MC shouldn't be ready to make a choice yet ... you're absolutely right.

And he isn't.

In my opinion...
This is just another example of this game being more true to real life than to a harem fantasy.

In real life how often do we (humans) wait until we are "in love" with someone before we choose to start "dating" them? (almost never, the point of dating is to determine our feelings and see if the relationship could go further)
But, even though we aren't "in love" and ready for a permenant commitment, 70% or more of the women you are in a "dating relationship" with will expect to be the only one you're seeing, at least after a couple of dates and almost for sure once sex enters the relationship.

In reality we are almost always choosing to pursue one potential relationship over another with very limited knowledge of the person we are choosing or the person we are excluding. We also tend to choose the "new and exciting" (unknown) over the well known and comfortable (reliable)

As a race we tend to run through life with blinders on jumping off bridges before ever looking to see what's at the bottom or how far the drop is, especially when we are young. We take leaps of faith all the time.

The "fall" in chapter 6 isn't the "leap" mentioned in the title. The true "leap of faith" in the game is the leap of trusting someone and letting them in to your life. It's a leap that every character in the story faces at some point, and it's a leap that we take every day as we interact with others.
Everytime we open ourselves to others we take that Leap of Faith, and I think that's Drifty's whole point.
It's not about which girl you pick. It's about making the choice and choosing to open yourself up, because when we keep ourselves closed off to those around us, well, we often find ourselves standing on the edge of a bridge wishing there was someone, anyone, in our lives who cared enough to catch us when we fall.

Hey y'all finally jumped on this game recently and have absolutely loved it so far-taking my time to fully soak it in and all, just got to chapter 4 last night and I'm guessing this is where the paths split unless someone says different.

Surprised it's already here but not unhappy, just wondering if there's a recommended way to go about it if I want to play every path eventually? Should I just keep going back and forth between each one? Do one all the way then skip through repeated sections on later paths? Is there any order of paths that people think gives a better overall experience? Also what's the playtime like for all paths together?
Appreciate everyone's thoughts/etc especially if you've got divided opinions-intend to continue taking my time on this one in any case

The choice when he's in bed on holiday is where the branches split. Keep a copy of that save.

To skip past content you've already seen hold control on your keyboard.

Also heed any content warnings and trigger warnings if they apply to you, going forward

The only aditional comment I will add to this is that for the Kira/Robin paths, your prior choices(before chapter 4) will have an impact on their routes, also you might want to start a complete replay when you do Steph's path if you had sex with Robin (and dont have sex with her)... Otherwise you might feel like shit later on Stephs path, but that's up to you. in addition, I recomend doing Lexi's path first, because it's awesome, and because those who do Cici's path first often get caught in a cycle of not being able to not choose her for fear of the unknown. to avoid that trap, do Cici second. Finally, I would recomend doing the Holly routes last as they are dificult to activate and the holly solo path is heart wrenching. And last of all (i know I already said finally, but this isn't about the girl routes) don't forget to hook your brother up! it's not a harem game, you can't have them all, so let Chris have a happy ending too!

Yeah, the Holly path requires very speciffic things to be done during the play through to trigger her route to open.

I think this is most of it, Elhemeer is the master on this, so hopefully he will correct me if I missed anything...

In Chapter 4...
Chose Lexi on the first night major choice.
When you meet Holly for the first time choose conflicted.
Be sure not to set Holly up with Chris.
Chapter 5...
On the balcony, view all 9 squares and view Hollys boobs 3 times.
Buy cigarettes for Holly at the newspaper stand, If you can't remember her brand ask the news guy for help and ignore what he says, lol (I'm pretty sure he brand is the gold box... I know it's not menthols.)
On the boat choose wouldn't mind including Holly -> What about it -> Sure -> Stroke Lexi and Holly hands, pick one pick Holly (not sure if this one matters but I do it for her path just to be safe)
If you bought cigarettes, (which you should have) you'll give them to her the morning after the boat 3-way
Chapter 6
Tell Holly "No regrets" at the prom.

This should get the Holly path to open at the hospital. On the regular Lexi route you go with Lexi to your place to clean up. If Holly route opens this is replaced with the option to go with Holly back to the hotel to clean up while Lexi stays with Cici.
