to make it clear all the girls are wonderful they're just not my type
except for Malena she was made for me
with Malena I felt the spark right away
to be honest when I started the game none of the girls were my type but I kept playing because I felt
like I was waiting for something or someone
and it turns out I was waiting for Malena

Well, just started this game, recommended on AVN_Lovers on Reddit... and I have to say, so far it's a damn great game, love that it focuses so much on establishing the world they're in first, the Novel part being on the front is something I'll always respect to the utmost in an AVN. Renders are pretty good too, the subtle changes happening in their faces, the 'silence' they experience, superb writing thus far. Sorry to bring up another AVN, but it reminds me of Corporate Culture, obviously not the same type of subjects, but the same kind of vibe, strong character building, both in funny and serious situations (I have to say, parent abandonment is a real syndrome later in life, I felt it, and that scene with Max.........).
Just started Episode 2, and yeah, I'm sold because of the writing, first and foremost.

The story is very engaging... which is actually rare since most games I have played are less about story.
Interestingly the personalities of the love interests really come to the fore, and none are easy lays without regard to consequence.
Aghavni: Although she is your ex she is not just ready to have sex with you from the get go. It takes time and sustained effort.
Emmeline: Has a huge crush on MC but is still not ready to jump his bones on a first date. Fitting I guess given she seems more... reserved anyway.
Jamie: Is the one character who is fascinating to me because she is into scifi has a vivid imagination, and has both lofty goals and the intelligence and drive to meet them. She's also rich, so of all the love interests Jamie is like... perfect.
Aghavni is cool and a great cop, but I am not as attracted to her. Malena is physically attractive but lacks the sophistication of Jamie, and Emmilene is as plain as vanilla.

When I talked with you, I just started Ch2, didn't even meet Malena, barely met Emmeline...
Now that I've finished it, I have to say, yeah, Malena is a bomb, but I think she's way more than she appears. She deals with trauma with her snark, I suppose she got in the army because she was raped or something like that when she was younger, that's why the few things that were said about her backstory will probably mean a lot later.
Still, I love all of them, Emmeline may seem vanilla, and I'd have to agree, but she has a wicked mind, she's cute as fuck, and while everything seems perfect in her young life, her past is probably way darker than we know thus far. Poverty creates a lot of trauma...
Aghavni, honestly wasn't sure about her model at first, but the more we see her, the more I like her overall character, cause she has depth, a strong woman who can probably deal with a lot of shit... and, well, she likes it 'hard, very hard', so yeah.
And Jamie, the little girl who grew up into a fine woman, who I think has had some trouble in the past, cause while everything seems perfect, I have the impression we'll learn she had to deal with some shit, psychologically, in the years the MC didn't see her.
Story is great so far... and the animations, sure didn't expect they'd be that smooth !
But yeah, Malena is a bomb, and I think literally, either the MC will be able to defuse her a bit, or she'll blow up.

I agree with you 100% brother that' is more to Malena than meets the eye but like I said before all
of the girls in this game are amazing but they just were not my type I didn't feel anything with
them no spark but when I saw Malena it was like, that's the girl I've been waiting for this entire
time I love badass and dangerous women
but with a good heart
Loved the new episode and it definitely shows that the quality of episode 1 wasn't a fluke at all.
But man, for me Emmeline and Malena are really off-putting, it might just be that my life experience has just never had me meet anyone like them, but they just seem so cartoony compared to Aghavni and Jamie. Malena's model is amazing, but she doesn't feel real to me - she feels like a porn game chick; when Jamie (aside from this episode's Marvel scene) and Aghavni feel like they could be characters in a well made TV crime show.
Episode 2 didn't feel like it progressed the plot all that much compared to episode 1 either. They are fairly minor gripes and will be easily fixable with more time spent with the characters who currently bother me, assuming they don't continue to behave similarly - and develop further in a natural way.

Wow, I just finished Episode 2. it was so good that I forgot I'm playing adult VN game. So far I'm impress. So good that I don't know which girl to pick and unsure if there will be harem ending with this or maybe a friends with benefits ending with all the girls.

There is subtext there: she doesn't just comment that Aghavni has big boobs, she says "bigger boobs than me." Jamie probably views her chest as an advantage with her crush so she's especially irritated that not only is this new threat (Aghavni) gorgeous but that Aghavni has even bigger boobs than Jamie does.How was Jamie jealous of cop Kardashian's bazookas? Hers are humongous as well
