You don't have to be friends with benefits, but you do have to score at least two assertiveness points with her in Episode One. If you don't score those points then Aghavni will tell Luis at the beginning of Episode Two that MC has changed. That he doesn't seem as masculine/assertive, hence she loses interest in him. I think I actually intended to add additional opportunities for the player to overcome that deficiency after seeing the conversation between Luis and Aghavni, but I never did. The pathing got too complicated for my simple brain. Or maybe I just forgot.
I, personally, would like it if it were possible to play this part the story without having to impose myself onto Aghavni. It is clear they still have a connection, but the only way I could invite her over is by being assertive in the first episode? That doesn't feel like it's in line with the rest of the story. The main character is not an overly masculine and assertive character and Aghvani, out of all the possible relations, seems like she would not be interested in that type of character.

Disagree about it not fitting Aghvani's character, imo it fits great.

The main character is assertive to a good degree imo, just with carrington he wasnt but he was overwhelmed in that situation. He is masculine and assertive just not to a stupid degree, but it wasnt stupid with Aghvani either and really not this serious.

Regarding the discussion about Aghvani, I think it suffers the most from awkward timing. The MC and Aghvani both mutually broke up, they both know it didn't work, and you have to basically hit the flags for her again before the MC has had any real time and effort spent towards actual change, so it just feels strange.
That being said, sometimes life is just like that, but man it feels pretty whack to basically go 'nah I'm driving' to a female officer that's also your ex.

With the dev having had plans to implement more opportunities, it makes sense as to why it's like that for sure, but it is one of the main reasons (besides her being an ex to begin with) to where I just didn't pay her much attention.
Maybe I'm biased by personal experiences but exes tend to be and stay exes for a reason.

By the way the threesome scene was awesome, loved the casual aspect of it. Just kinda sad that most people probably wont ever see it, whos playing this route voluntary?

I used URM to see it

Randomly saw this game in someone's signature and liked the look so decided to try it and I will be eternally grateful that I did. I've literally just got finished with everything added so far (burned through all 4 episodes at once naturally) and felt compelled for once to leave a comment just saying this is a really really good game. Like really good. Really really really good. Maybe already my all time favourite.

I think it's the first game on here that's managed to make me seriously emotional at times, it's at the very least the best I've played in that regard even if a few others may have also managed it. The scenes with Colleen were especially touching but also plenty of other moments too. And despite covering some very serious topics and the like (all of which were handled very respectfully and well might I add) it still managed to have moments that made me literally laugh out loud. Armin is fucking hilarious. I loved all the courtroom drama and DA/Detective stuff too ofc others have made the obvious and apt comparison to thr CSI's but I think it was even better and maybe reached BCS tier for that stuff for me.

I haven't even brought up the obvious best bit yet, which is the overarching story and plot. It gripped me very early on and managed to deliver even more as I carried on through the chapters. Just an incredibly well written, intriguing story from A to Z (or maybe A to M or something since we've got plenty more chapters to come) and the way you tied the different storylines and their narratives back into each other was exceptionally done. And to wrap it all up, one final cherry on top to cement it as an all timer, the sex scenes are still genuinely great too. Often in games like this you can end up having players stop caring about those (often times I even end up just skipping through them to just get back to the plot lol) and whilst I was of course still eager to get back to the plot here they're were all very well done. Top tier renders, animations, dirty talk and all the rest, even in the dream bonuses.

I don't normally bother reviewing games even the few others I've enjoyed this much but might have to make the effort and write one up (guess I kind of just did) to leave it the 5 stars it 1000% deserves. Great job by all involved and I look forward to whatever comes next :D

Yeah well and she stays a LI so it probably wont have been the last time even if i dont expect it to happen again very soon. All of this is hilarious, even more as my mc did the incest rant
Emmy deserved better. At least they got each other as family.

Hey everyone. I worked on another small scene this week.

Half of the this scene takes place at night in the MC's office. The MC's office was the first scene I made when I started to work on the game, and our introduction to the MC takes place at night in his office.

Those early renders were really awkwardly arranged. I did some odd things like leaving the ceiling and walls invisible to allow in outside light. Since then I've played with the lighting in that office for both day and night scenes. I don't think the original renders were particularly bad, but I did make some improvements over episodes two through three.

In a real life situation, someone working in an office like this at night would probably not notice much difference from daytime due to the overhead, diffuse lighting in these types of buildings, and that's always been my approach to lighting the MC's office at night. But here you can see me experimenting with a bit more more of a cinematic style.

That's all for this week. Thank you for your support!
