thats all with one character of many, so all of that with the rest, then public stuff, group, chief, demon, endings, game still has ages too go

I'm not surprised the builds lack content if they release them monthly. Go for 2 or even 3 month builds to get more meat on the bone. Just fuck those patrons who cry for monthly releases, they have no idea how things work and only blame the devs afterwards...

I think they work very hard, and i saw a stream where he was doing the "caves" background and doing a female model and it looked hard (i don't understand any of those programs they use but i think they require some skill to use it),now imagine doing all that work and also doing dialogs and animations etc etc. Now think that this is just team of 2 guys…
I honestly don't know the reason for this complains, if you want more content just wait 2-3 months and come back to see what is new, that's what i do, and i always end up happy with all their new content.

That's the thing, it has been 2 months since the last update, and most the updates as of recent have been very bare boned.

I think you dont understand how much money they are getting for 1 scene every 2 monts so let me enlighten you, lets assume just 3$ per Parteon (its more trust me) thats already 6000$ for an update every 2 months ? HELL sign me up for this job. You should invest time in training your eyes, not your fingers for spamming. I said you won't get any meat for the bones if the devs keep releasing monthly builds.
How can i be a white knight if i don't even support them on Patreon and skip several builds until there's more stuff to play? If you want to be a smartass...make sure you don't fuck up that hard by using words you have no idea what they actually mean.
That Boomerang comes back to you, i have told that the problem Patreons have is not the amount of content alone.... no, you are clearly getting the wrong idea. It is the combination of Content,money received and lies that have been told. You see the thing is the team consists out of 2 people right now and he stated that he already works 12+ on the game(clearly a lie but i obviously cant provide evidence except the content lack), so considering the money they make the patreon suggested getting more people into(not necessarily fulltime if he needs to save money) and it was denied. So at the moment he sits on a patreon that gets payed a fuckton for work that they have not deadline for, like other developers have. It's easy to assume that he is just milking people you know ? either THAT or he is just a poor developer for those choices.

I've seen more complex projects put out consistent almost weekly builds with new content.
I'll just name one as an "inb4" the Tales of Androgyny updates are consistent and always have new art and scenes, along with new gameplay mechanics.
That's a super complex RPG game with tons of variation in content including its Stance system for combat.
This project's a lazy scam.
Anyway, I really like this.
Dont get the wrong idea guys. i would LOVE to see this succeede i have been a fan of the Krystal series of many people befor this guy, but i refuse to blindly follow excuses and i wont accept bad management that is borderline scam.

I like the game a lot and it has a lot of potential but there are more vague excuses than there is content. I said it before but single devs have made far more complex games in the timespan this game's taken to get to arbitrary 0.8 designation.
To name some off, A Robot Named Fight is still getting updated and new content comes out every now and then when the dev gets bored, that's a MetroidVania game that randomly generates an entire Super Metroid map on every run, with hundreds of hours of content and one guy did it in the time it's taken this to............................... do what? This game's not an RPG or a platformer, it's a linear text grind.
I want it to succeed which is why I criticise the dev's work ethic and clear lack of effort, not even his excuses are elaborate but I guess he's an MRA now.

Facts:
He's in a 1-2 man team working off a single computer that he can't take anywhere.
He makes a fuckton of money, patreon page says so.
He barely puts out any updates, none substantial for a while.
He says he works 12+ hours a day but given the above he's either really bad or a scammer.
Not facts:
Every excuse he's ever made.

after 2 years in this forum and supporting 11 Patreon (150 $/month), i never really understand why there are always this people that are fighten for the right of content by every update. The most of us and the most people on Patreon are adult persons who know how we spend our hard earned money. So why you guys always think we are not allowed to support a creator with our hard earned money? You think someone take your hard earned money and give it to the creator?

You're a white knight because even though you don't support them, you are defending them and their shitty work ethic. They have made 3 new scenes in the span of 2 months, that is pretty fucking sparse if you ask me. If this dev is really working 12 hours a day on this game (and I highly doubt it) there should be a LOT more work to show for it. For example if he is really working 12 hours a day on this game in the span of one month he would be working 269 hours, assuming he takes weekends off, that's a shit ton of time, and assuming he is relatively comfortable with the game engine and code language (which is pretty safe to assume especially if he really is spending 12 hours a day for months at a time working on this game) then there really isn't any excuse to not have more content pumped out of this game when you aren't adding anything game changing or even really new. It is just adding a few new event flags a new animation scene and then some sound effects (yes, I know that is a very very condensed simplification of what actually happens).
Anyone who actually buys that this dev is actually working 12 hours a day is about as gullible as they come and you out here defending him is just plain stupid when he hasn't shown at any time in development that he is someone who should be vouched for or defended for. There's no excuse to tell someone to wait 2-3 months for a good amount of content when this dude claims to be working hundreds of hours a month on this game. There are plenty of devs who actually put work into their games but this dude ain't one of them.
