Personally I'm still not a fan of a side view, but generally looks pretty solid.

Ehh, looks okay.
Her boobs won't be oddly lopsided anymore at least and the loss of detail I was worried about isn't as big a problem seeing this, hopefully it's consistently decent though. It's gonna come down to the gameplay and this hilariously overambitious vision they have for what's coming for me, though I'm admittedly slightly more hopeful seeing the new art in motion.
With all that said however, it's gonna take groundbreaking shit at a consistent rate for me to consider giving Kuja a single dollar at this point.

@everyone Sorry for the @ everyone, but this is a bit of an important statement we're going to make. Lately the dev team and I have been reading the comments on our Patreon post regarding the change, and it's a bit disheartening truth be told. Accusations that we're trying to do cash grabs, that we're lazy, and other such nasty statements. While I agree that we can stand to be more transparent, and that will come with the updated Trello soon, we need the community to have faith in what we're doing. We aren't trying to steal money from people, that is actually the exact opposite of why we made the change (How can we make a cash grab when we hire more teammembers and thus split our income?). We made the change in favor of a better quality game, because we like the idea of making a good/fun game. Development doesn't exist in a perfect world, setbacks happen especially when we're trying to do some innovative stuff (Which we are, legitimately) in a very undervalued genre. We've had some development setbacks, and we've had opportunities to take time to make something way better. We've been experimenting with new ways to do things, our coder has even been programming tools for us to use in development. When given the choice between rushing an unfinished mess to make some people happy, we'd rather spend more time on making sure it's high quality. That may make some people angry, but patience will be rewarded. I want everyone here to know that we all love Krystal, and we are doing our best to make this work, all we can hope for is that our awesome community continues to support us while we make the world a better, happier, and sexier place. ~ Vlad

It's most my fault for thinking/assuming everyone is on the server. Most complaints seem to come from people that didn't joined in yet. We will update the Patreon page in less than 48 hours with a chunk of info related to what we are doing. Sorry for the wait.

If any of the devs are lurking here, my advice for you is to mirror any posts you think the community might like here... Otherwise, I'll try to pop in once a week with updates when none are posted.

Looks like they made K a lighter blue? She looks a bit more cartoony to me. While I prefer the older style, I am still willing to give the new style a shot whenever they release the demo. I hope they realize the demo is going to be a big deal, this will be the "new first impression", it will build hype or kill it altogether. IMO, they would be much better off "feeding the beast" more frequently then they are, starved beasts act certain ways.

On the post by Kuja: Its less what he is doing at the moment that is the reason people complain, its the way they dealt with this project up until now. Their worth ethics started out okay but have been questionable for a while before I pulled out and decided its not worth supporting for now, and broken promises dont lend themselves well to new radical ideas that have a grand vision but nothing yet to show for. So yeah, there is that. Its not the things you do atm that Im doubting. Its the things you did until now. I understand their statment, but there have been more than one dev before who said they would "expand their team" and then nothing came of it. Its just hard not to be cynical and skeptical at this point.

As for Discord, I have been to their discord before, but decided to leave because as a non-patron "the jungle" barely gets any updates, only a couple of people really talk in that channel and its not worth sticking around for it. Meanwhile there are dozens of games that do very well financiallys that keep me in their full discord access because I supported them in the past. It creates an emotional connection with the people and makes them support you even if shit isnt going so well. But they always insistet people need to support them every month if they want to be part of the other - supposedly more involved - channels.

Last but not least, the RSP. I...... dont like it, I cant lie. Agreed that her great figure looks less impressive now and her facial expressions are hard to display in that side-mode (unless they want to add a character sprite VN style, I could see that working). Artistically it looks great, Im just not sure how sexually stimulating it is for me, especially since this new artstlye makes her look a lot more furry than before and Im not technically into the furry genre. I was more into the unique story idea and her model looked really exeptionally well and sexy before the change. Now its.... artistically great like I said... but not very stimulating so far. Had to see it in action, but that is not promising for me. Have to wait and see. If it (and my impression of it) stays that way the story and gameplay will have to be REALLY good to make me play the game.

Also please let them keep the outfit they had in the original Rebirth, the pilot suit, as well as the sketches they made for the jungle outfit. Ik this one in the preview is the old school one from the old games, but I never liked it compared to the ones we gotten in the new game. Hopefully this is just a sketch and they can create their own take on it.

This isn't true in the slightest. RSP will not affect her facial expressions, at all. In the current, the MC has the SAME angle on her face.

When it comes to the body you might have a point, but for the most part, she has the dame angle for her face. Plus I this version has more detail to it.

The thing is, while they do have over 600 people on their discord, there's still over a thousand of their patreons that are not on their discord, so they ought to try and make small update posts, no matter how trivial (it's also in their best interest to be active on patreon, makes people want to pledge). Right now though, they are sharing approximately $10k a month between 5 people - that's not really a fortune by any stretch of the imagination. Perhaps in Brazil and the Philippines, that split is enough, but for someone like Archie (USA based), that's a small sum for a professional animator (unless he's working part-time on this, and on other projects).
At this point, the working wage for this project is not very lucrative - so I think they are trying to turn it back around (and if anything, we know that Abel and Kuja have pretty big safety nets, unless that's what they're using to supplement payment while they build their patreon)

If anything, I can safely say I'm cautiously optimistic. Archie seems to be doing good work, and the discord page seems to show quite a bit of dev interaction. I'd say put the pitchforks down until the demo is out

IDK i like the <0.8 previous krystals, this one looks also fine, but if i had to choose i would go the the previous versions

Have to admit, I don't like the new version, wasn't really a fan of the previous version as well but I let that one slide but since I was never a fan of the far too slender females, I'm stopping my patreon support until they have something exciting.
