I do wonder if ren'py would be a good base to build a spinoff on.
Continuing on with this, what type of game would people actually like to see in a spin-off? I’ve been looking for a small project to do for my next game, so I’d be interested in helping if anyone’s already gotten started. Otherwise, I might whip something up myself.

I could help come up with plot stuff.

One idea I had would be something maybe a bit like Rogue-Like in some regards, but with LoQO girls and more of an actual story. If it were in Ren'py, that is. You pick some basics about your character, and make choices through the story that can get you different results.

If you were to go for RPGM, my suggestion would be to take cues from Grolokk, the best game on that right now.

I'd probably go with Unity for an engine if I'm honest. I have some experience in it and program in C# for a living already, so it'd be quicker typically. I'd be willing to check out Ren'py, but it's mostly used for VN style games, which predominantly require two things, art and writing, neither of which I'm great at.

If we could get people who could contribute art and writing, I'd be down with checking out either Ren'py or the latest RPG Maker.

What kind of game are you aiming at here? That's a big question.

Good question. I'm open to suggestions.

Off the top, we could always go with something simple like a clicker, or can take it up a notch for a platformer or puzzle game. A roguelike is an interesting idea, combining elements of platforming with light combat, just have to think of ways to make them sexy (let's be honest, that's like the most important thing). A management game might be good too, since it'd give us a way to use a lot of characters and can probably be played with one hand.

I do like the idea of a management game personally. It could be combined with some story elements fairly easily too. Games like Sim Brothel and Slave Maker 3 might be good to take a look at for inspiration.

HMU If you're interested, I got started making a 'management' game where you pimp out the girls as a bit of a roguelike too (but i need someone to vibe off from since i cant commit to this full time)

Uh, no clue tbh, I'm kind of just making stuff up as I go along lol. But I thought of just a bit autistic game where you place, say, Farah around city (along other whores maybe) and depending on that neighbourhood, street, how many people go through it, what kind of people go through it (how much they willing to pay) and what kind of whore you make Farah (street or fancy escort) etc. to drive up the variety and simulation depth. Also with ability to go in person to inspect whats going on etc.

But so far I only have a simple walk and talk roguelike simulator.

Personally I feel like LOQO should refocus back to the girls, and not like about literally everthing else but them (like bruh I don't want to fuck my dog as someone said above)
Yeah, I agree. I think any LoQO game should start with the three main girls, and work it’s way out from there.

Yeah this makes sense. I don’t expect anyone would be too cool making a free game full time. That’s why I think a small game with limited scope is the way to go.

About your game, would you be cool with sharing some info about it (engine, code base, art style, etc)?

So far, it's a small codebase in Python, using python-tcod library with some SDL modifications to the code to allow normal images to be displayed, with no art yet.

Idk to me it's just like watching a cool movie that suddenly goes bad. It's just disappointing a little lol.

Also to other fans of the game, if royal 3 did whore themselves out, which sex do you think they'd price most/least?

I’d be interested in taking a look, but I have to say I’m not very familiar with python outside of some basic stuff I did in college.
