Are there any skills you can purchase in the late game that will let you automate the fishing process? Or is the game a constant series of fishing minigames from start to finish?

EDIT: Also, I should've saved at least one of each fish I caught for the fishgirl aquarium that gives you cosmetics for your fish tank. Though I did get the rod that helped me catch the Red Swamp Crayfish (one of my favorites, but a Top Ten list is still in the works^) so that's at least one silver lining.

*This top ten list will take into account not only appearance, but personality, sexiness, who has the best whopper and pregnant variants, among other things. So ciphertul , you'll most likely see some updates from me during the weekends when I'm most active with this game. Though to give you an idea, the Red Swamp Crayfish, Eel, Crucian Carp, Dark Chub and Common Carp are big contenders for my top ten+ or so list.

One on the left is the eel in manpeki lake (not really milf imo). Middle left is crucian carp in beach area. Middle right is dark chub in aegi valley. Right is common carp also in manpeki lake. If you are looking for mature girls, there are plenty in game. Also there is a human milf with a couple scenes.

I do think the eel genuinely looks like a MILF, albeit one you're more likely to find in a fantasy setting.

Whopper are larger breasts + horny. Pregnant is pregnant of course + affectionate and heart eyes.

The chubby fishgirl seems fatter in her whopper version. Though it is kind of hard to tell the difference with some of these.

Wait, I'm dumb. Gyoin's requests unlocks whoppers and pregnant versions of fish in the areas. Maps are from a Asashin guy after certain story progress (not sure about this, they just show up at some point)

Idk if im missing something but i caught a bunch of fish at the river area and yet the river tank is empty?

River tank is for the valley fish. The fish at the rice paddy area go in the lake tank, except the jellyfish who goes in the ocean 1 tank.

Is there a checklist for everything? I think I got everything except whopper and pregnant versions of the fish. I doubt anyone is insane enough to try to get ranker sizes of all the fish

Best I can tell, it never got translated. Not sure why Kagura only localized the sequel.

So either i have the dumb, or i can't do it yet, but i can't find the animal trail. I have the need to catch all the fish, although i did kind of skip over the lake...

You need the tengu jump skill before you can get to the animal trail. If you haven't caught the legendary fish at the lake yet then you can't get the tengu jump yet as it is part of the story later on.

Could someone theoretically make a GMV of Legend of the Master Baiter with this song? Obviously this game is heterosexual, but is there a marlin, snapper, salmon, coddle fin, yellowfin, bass, trout, grouper, crab, mackerel and/or pike fishgirl in the game? If not, what would their rough equivalents be in order to make the song fit with this hypothetical GMV?

Is there a way to get whoppers to spawn or is it just dumb luck? Been farming for hours just trying to get a great white shark whopper for the wasabi grater quest but none have spawned and 90% of the time I'm fishing up Mantas, all normal variant as well

The special variants require you to do the quests from the friend. The friend will tell you to show him a couple of fishes from each fishing zone and once you do, the variants start showing up in the zone.

I'm almost at the end with a Dull sword and looking for something sweet, the old man at the shop doesn't sell anything that I don't have more than one. What am I missing? I finished the wasabi thing, got the two scenes with aunty.
EDIT: Found it, you need to talk twice with the capibara and the dull knife is swapped with some kids in the lake



Do you know where that one is?
I also got the fossil fish but the stone door behind the inn is still closed.
Edit: There was a bottle on the beach after the fossil fish, all done now.
