This shadow dude in the background is bugging me all through-out this scene, is it Yomiel? He mentioned always watching but not always being seen and Akira doesn't react to him at any point... can't really imagine Selly going to the effort of putting that there for no reason so... huh?

Ah yes, the shadow dudes lol

Although he looks more like of a real human figure compared to the other shadowy figures you'll see when the characters visit some places. Take the takoyaki man for example.

Black figures, like black angels, seem to be related to Sekai. One has been seemingly following around Maya since she almost kissed Sensei:

It's probably Sekai's form of "watchers". Bunnies like Yomiel and white angels tend to be Yasu's god's/HOPE's watchers, though.

I also think if a Bunny has tape over it's eyes:

It's being used by Yasu's god much like how it used Yasu's eyes before.

Btw, Tsuneyo can apparently see shadowy figures:

For some reason, that like a lot of things involving Tsuneyo, has not been explained.

I was under the impression that all the extra time he spent with Yumi according to everyone else was a consequence of her being stuck talking to him during the time-skip, that the mechanism of the skip was forced to write in a lot of Sensei and Yumi time because they were locked together. I took this to be reinforced by how there's only a few screen changes, that as everything was being written smoothly, those two had to keep being put to the side until eventually being pinched off for the skip to continue, leaving a sort of smooth progression for everyone else and a sudden stutter for them... but that might all just be my subjective experience.
At first I thought hmm maybe the same thing happened to Maya x Ayane that led to Ami thinking she's been more left out via the same world mechanism. But no, right before the skip all three of them were talking plans for Christmas. Ami did not feel the same effect Yumi had when in conversation with two squad members during the skip.

So so unless Ayane and Maya actually started a two-person conversation shortly after (then got locked together without Ami because of the skip), Ami either is exempted from the effect or only Sensei has this "power".

Speaking of Ami, anyone else realize that Maya fucked up?:

Maya to Makoto: "Why not try speaking about this to any of the other girls?"

Makoto, shortly afterwards, to Ami: *Tells her everything*

Maya, not long after that, to Ayane: "We probably wouldn't even be in this mess if it weren't for you!"

Ayane: "How is any of this my fault?!"

Maya: "I don't know! But it's definitely not mine!":

"Worst case scenario" my ass, Maya.

Most likely, albeit, in retrospect, considering that Sekai seemed to claim Yasu and the "what is "A" for?" thing. They might all be watching for Sekai, now.

It also seems to be the same one in that abandoned shrine that Maya and Sensei went to on her bday:

And perhaps even the one that seems to be watching Sana:

Also, maybe there's a difference between white and black bunnies like there seems to be between angels? Except in reverse since Yasu's seems to be black:

While Sekai's might be white. Which isn't confusing at all..

Just realized, if Sana is actually Nozomu's daughter, that'd mean he likely cheated on Sekai with Sara (unless she was into that). Not to mention, the whole Sara being a substitute mom to Ami thing:

I wonder what Sekai thinks of the Sakakibaras? Wait, Kaori sometimes works for them as well.. I wonder if Sekai planned for that to happen?

Kaori also wanted to work at Tojo Ramen which seems to be an important place... Maybe Kaori is meant to be like a mole for Sekai or something. Working everywhere within Kumon-mi to give Sekai room to move as needed.

Tsuneyo definitely seems to be of some importance. Going back to the 1st Happy Event, The Room With The Clocks:
The characters that show up are Maya(amiokay version), then Imani takes over, then Maya(youdidit version, although for some reason not as long?)
Then it cuts to this scene:

Since we are with the Sakakibara's, a detail I found: I think "Ad Infinitum" is not the first time Sana goes through a happy event. In "Summer and Winter" after she and Sensei stop talking, he says "let's just watch the stars" and so they do. This Sana's face in the immediate frame:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
At first, I thought she was crying for Sensei sleeping in Ayane's bed but actually she didn't shed a tear:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
And the she says:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Only thing Sensei heard was the sound of cicadas. She was seeing a happy event, I'm positive of it.

Incidentally, in the same event we have a reference of Sara suffering a happy event in the past:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
I don't believe it was negligence, her post reaction says a lot. Or maybe I'm wrong, I mean that's exactly what my Mom did when I was a baby :ROFLMAO:.

Naaah, i think you're on to something. It's not much but i can see it, and i can easily see it being one of those subtle hints that comes back at the big reveal of a mystery film.

Yeah, there seems to be a notable link between Tsuneyo and the god of wires:
Well, I think we can agree User2 and the god of wires are at least related if not simply different names for the same thing.

So, there's User2 showing up with seemingly a bowl of Ramen, Noodles and a computer:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Claiming you don't know it:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
which seems to cross out anyone you actually know, like Ami.

Both User2 and Tsuneyo's father seem notably protective:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Tsuneyo's father gifted her a shirt that seems related to User2:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Both the god of wires and Tsuneyo's father seem related to Trees:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

There's also how the god of wires is noted to be in a dark bedroom:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Overall: all the tree talk, computer/wiring that is keeping Tsuneyo's father alive, bird stuff, and weird things with Tsuneyo like how she just automatically understands the resets:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
All seem to imply Tsuneyo's "father" is at least related to the god of wires.
I don't recall Imani showing up in the Room with Clocks Happy Event though. If you mean "Teacher":
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Then that's likely just Sekai.

Hmm I thought Sana was just holding her tears/sobbing and Sensei was intentionally dense enough to persuade himself otherwise (because if I zoom in on your snapshot enough I think I can see faint lines of tears), but what you said isn't impossible as well.

In retrospect what is eerie to me is how Sana assigned herself and Ayane with winter and summer when seasons in this game mean so much more

Yeah, those are tears. Still, I stand with what I said, don't think Sensei would have to cover for Sana in a monologue.
