hmm..Is there an easier way to know when a scene is not available during scene replay?

I know scene replay is limited due to having default flags, but for example, in the niki non-disclosure agreement event, there's a scene with ami and ayane in the woods.

Is the only way to rewatch that scene saving the scene's scriptname in urm when that scene came up during the playthrough? Is there an easier way to detect those with URM?

The nerdy white guys were Good Kid, who is a real live band made up of nerdy white guys.

I wonder if they know they've been inserted into a grooming simulator.
Yes, my post was a bit stupid (completely ignorant regarding bands.) I hadn't seen the scene that explained that when I made it. I do think Good Kid's music isn't bad at all. It's moderately intense, so I kept focusing on their lyrics instead of reading the text.

One question I saw people talking about Selly being replaced, so one question if he dies is there someone to take over the game or will there never be an update again?

And if someone replaced him, the Game would he have the same ending that Selly would have planned or would we never see the end of the game that Selly planned?

Unless Sel has actually shared his overall planned plot with someone who would also be able to replicate his writting style, when Sel dies, the game dies. It would be possible someone would take up the torch, but i guess the quality would really fall off after that. I mean if someone would be good enough to replicate his writing and style of presentation good enough that it would feel like the game actually does continue, you have to wonder, why didnt they make their own game if they are that good already?

Nah, been a subscribstar since before the Huggybear thing. No piracy here, though I did find the game through here.

Hmm. This Nodoka event. Most people did not like it, considering some scenes(except Io one) as "pointless fanservice". Upon second time I revisited this event, something suddenly clicked. The background and poses of some girls is very similar to the whole "gravure sets" fanservice stuff in a very early days back when Sel was here. The more I look at these Sana and Noriko poses and background, the more it reminds me of those things. Maybe there is more to it than just "pointless fanservice"? Time to check the early thread. Edit: the one that goes right after "Irregular Hearbeat" one. Edit(2):nope. Too meta. Would be cool if these "November winner" and other stuff was actually Nodoka doing, but it is insane theory. Pointless fanservice it is then.

Edit(3): Wait a fucking minute. "How about we start with a little...gravure modeling competition?". Fuck yes. Okay. Nodokathon is da best. This oldfag here is pleased

URM won't give you any notice, so preemptively knowing when to save script names for countering classic Selly shenanigans is difficult.

Currently your best bet is to constantly look up script names live and be mindful whenever you see "intro" or "pre" in the script name (in the case you brought up, that little Ami x Ayane segment is beachwarspreniki while Niki's NDA event is nikifirstlust). This mostly happens right before entering a missable event and they are considered different by Renpy. However, this method relies on how Selly names them and how consistent he wants to be, so it's potentially unreliable.

If your goal is to review scenes hidden behind end_replay (i.e., events that end early), use URM to jump to that label but reload your save afterwards otherwise you might mess things up. But again unfortunately, URM won't give notice whenever things like that approach.

Feel free to correct me if I say something incorrect as my understanding is quite limited

In the conjectural case of his disappearance, there would simply "never be an update again". People who pour themselves into a creative work cannot be replaced.

The similar example in my mind is the manga Berserk, by Kentaro Miura. When Miura died, he was survived by an entire studio of people with utmost respect for his work, including a longtime friend and colleague with knowledge of the entire planned story arc. They chose to continue issuing chapters of Berserk. The illustrations are a near-impeccable imitation. But the spark in the characters and the life in the story's world is gone.

Suppose authentic plans for LiL's plot appeared by some miracle. Maybe a dedicated reader of Lessons in Love who also happened to be a skilled writer would try to pick up the proverbial torch. Regardless of quality, it would be painfully obvious that it wasn't the same story and could never be so.

Passion projects live and die with their creators. That's why I hope dearly for my favorite authors to remain well.

- There's a proliferation of projects jumping in to make easy money like happened with Big Brother.

- Every "author" rip off a different theory from Deskel and the other usual suspects and go from there. None of the people in here get any money for it.

- All of them make a promise to finally have a sex scene with the most requested girl (i.e. Yumi). No one keep their word.

- To nobody's surprise all the projects are pretty bad and no one is happy with them.

- Discord fanboys create a Selebus's AI to finally have a proper ending. The AI says: "Fuck the ending, give me all the money those filthy copycats made thanks to my work". Also all the projects should be merged into the Lessons in Love canon universe to make it the longest work of fiction ever, the only thing that matters.

- After all the merge the novel is short of one million words to reach the objective. Sycophants are sad.

- Alex 2011 says he wants to contribute with a "short" prologue to be included in the novel. The threshold is finally reached. Sycophants are exultant.

- F95Zone, now the only authority when it comes to visual novels in the whole world communicates that they made a mistake all these years and finally applies the Rule 7 violation on Selebus work. Content is deleted and Lil stops being the longest fiction ever.

- Selebus AI goes out of control. AI apocalypse starts.

Hi, it may have been mentioned elsewhere in the thread, but I wanted to check the reason for the care packages, if it is worthwhile adding them, or if they're no longer needed? Thanks for your time and all the best.

Most of the content can be viewed just in the downloaded files and without actually adding to the game. If you do add them and don't use the appropriate cleaning measures, it will literally erase your save. Its super not worth it, and if you are interested, just download them and check out the files without dropping them into your install.

The game said it has 1.1 million word in 0,19 update, isn't this game way longer than most Vn i know of by 0.39 at this point lol?
