I wouldn't go that far and I mean I'm just one guy who didn't like it. I was just curious and thought maybe your fans could tell me what they like so much about your game. My comments are not meant to be taken as me trying to prove its not good. I just have a different opinion and would like to hear other opinions on it. I'm clearly in the minority here anyway right?
For me it's the depth of the characters. They're very unique and whole people, complete with damage, as well as things that make them worth that damage. You can see some thought to psychology in them, and their development.

For the record though, it's okay to not like a thing that's popular. Just means you have different tastes.

ok, random question.. how the hell do you pronounce Uta's name? is it you-ta or oo-ta?
I've always assumed oo-ta, cause the game is set in Japan, and Uta is Japanese so it follows that her name should use Japanese pronunciation of うた (which means "Song", idk if that's ever going to be relevant).

I don't like milk convince me I should

Edit: DO IT NOW FUCKER
because it is healthier than options like soda or energy drinks and yet also has a taste that is very different from water for when you don't want to drink water.

It also wouldn't keep you up with caffeine like coffee would.

Same like utada hikaru i assumed.
The second pronunciation is correct, the first would be spelled yuta or yuuta.

Milk is delicious and has many benefits from stronger bones to vitamins necessary for the human body. Are you convinced yet? :p

Right, open vowel sounds, so U is usually an OO sound. Also, don't be surprised if it actually does come up, this is Selebus we're talking about. It could be as minor as missing one scene from a wrong choice or as major as missing an entire answer to a puzzle and being stopped in our tracks.

its a shame we cant get everyone's lust to trigger instead of just a handful
Not every girl in the game is ready to go that far, it will come when they are ready within their story.

There is one thing i've consistently liked about this game from the beginning, and that's the subversion of a lot of the typical harem elements that you find in these games (and animes), i really like that, and the girls are unique enough that they make it work (i was initially worried that you were adding too many but they really work well together).

I know sometimes people here can bring you down, but i wish you the very best and that you can continue working on this game for a very long time :giggle:

Yeah, they would. Illusion has been pretty clear over the decades that they don't care enough to take action. Otherwise there wouldn't be a giant modding community behind multiple games that have never been released outside of Japan. That is not to say that there is no fault, I'm not going to even get into that, but they won't come after anyone using their assets for other games. That was the whole purpose of the StudioNeo and CharStudio programs in the first place.

Nope, though they did dislike when Fakku tried to enforce on Honey Select 1. Also, yes, that would be the ultimate pairing, make it a foursome, even, with us involved.
I don't think it's possible to stress enough how much illusion does not care about us sweaty gaijin. Particularly after the whole rapelay thing

Apart from that, copyright law is shit and people who engage with it professionally should be avoided like the closeted axe-murderers they are. So the idea of engaging with copyright in a different jurisdiction is fucking anathema.

Also, I have presented some utter bullshit to judges, but I'm not sure you could pay me enough to talk to a 60 year old about anime porn.

Although it is a niche, maybe I need to get the text-books out.

Wear the ahegao shirt into court for best impression in case you wanna talk about anime porn. You are gonna be the MVP.

I always find it weird that native english speakers have problems with pronouncing japanese names. Kind of annoys me for no reason.
Why would that be weird or annoying?
Sure the rules for Japanese pronunciation are simpler than English but if it's not something a person has ever run into why would you expect them to know about it? It's unlikely I would get the pronunciation of something like a German or Spanish name correct on the first try.

Am i the only person that gets really creeped out by this game? It's not scary in the traditional sense, but i often find myself peeking through my hands when i feel like something "staticky" is gonna happen.

I feel like some of the general ambiguity/confusion also helps with the mood, the occasional dead stops in the music track, those moments when a character says something really odd/serious and the music just cuts off instantly, alongside all the weird visuals.

The last time Sensei harassed Miku and we had her nervous breakdown was genuinely frightening (especially if you play in the dead of night with only a tv turned on as background noise).

In fact, this may be the only game on here that i'd be totally fine with having the sex scenes just excised entirely, i basically just play this game for the mindscrew story and the atmosphere, and i suspect i'm not alone with this train of thought.

The progress and guide mod has been updated to 0.18.0p1 (see the link in the OP).

I normally don't make a separate post mentioning when I make an update, but since there were some significant changes to how the mod works and there aren't that many people who closely read the mod's description (and even fewer who read the readme), I wanted to go to a little more effort.

Most importantly, I added keyboard shortcuts (see the readme), changed the game's quick menu, and added an options screen.

I also made it possible to disable event hints for people who just want to take advantage of the improved UI.
