Maybe I'm pervert, but with hints on Wakana x Sensei and Osako being bottom and her problems with satisfying Wakano, I can see how it could lead to some cuckold relationship with Sensei

wait, he won`t kill her because patreon`s admins deleted his account, right?
Hopefully Sel hasn't changed his mind about it because of patreon BS. Have to admit that, when initially being introduced to Chinami, I immediately thought of how her eventual demise being so scripted and unavoidable in order to break Chika in full force. Though I am here to witness everything going south, having something unfortunate happen to her really is the least thing I am ready to see.

Maybe the next reset will get rid off whatever is going on with her now if she makes it past Christmas, but I am not getting my hopes up.

maybe she'll get really sick to the point of Chika reaching out to Tsubasa for help. then she'll receive the best medical care available but be forced to be taken from Chika's custody

When Ami's mom speaks to Sensei in any scene, her name is shown as Teacher. When she speaks to Ami, she's Sekai.

The fact that her name changes for Sensei is relevant. That's what she is to him. Not just in a classroom sense, everything that defines him, he learned from her. His nihilism, his detachment of sex from love, his grooming of others as she groomed him.
This rings a slightly unrelated bell for me:
Perhaps it's been brought up for a bazillion times, so could the name that starts with the letter T in fact be "Teacher"? Or is this one of those You Are The 5728024th Person Who Discovered It LOL. This is in a sense like how Sensei just embraces "Sensei" as his name. I just honestly don't think at this point any regular T-starting name would pack a single punch when we finally get to some revelation part.
(Also me here suspecting Tsuenyo the whole time hahaha)

Couldn't Tsukasa and her mom just throw her "fuck you" levels of money at her and fix her health?

If i was filthy rich and my kid finally made a friend i'd help that kid out.

Possibly, but I think there's more to it.

There was a moment where Sensei is in the Room with the Clocks, looking at someone who looks like Maya hanging, and he says "I'm looking at her right now" in reference to "T". I can't find it in Replay, so I think it might be a varialbe-dependent section of the scene, but it implies that Maya is "T" in some way.

Possibilities:

1) Maya isn't her real name, and the real name starts with T
2) Maya has Teacher's face (the game very specifically obscures her face), which would imply that Maya is Teacher's child or sister.
3) Maya is possessed by Teacher or a reincarnation of Teacher
4) Maya and Teacher are both avatars of the unnamed third god.

All indications are that death doesn't actually happen inside Kumon-Mi. At least, something has directly interfered multiple times to keep Makoto alive.

So if she does get criticaly ill, Chinami won't die. She'll just continue wasting away indefinitely.

I agree that Maya or some iterations of Maya is the most possible candidate for being the "T" (the other candidate being the intentionally mysterious watermelon blue-eyed girl). I mean, currently with the little amount of complete clues we have, I'm just basically pointing fingers to any girl/entity suspicious enough and asking "Hey you T?!?!?"

I also thought of the possibility of THE Maya, the girl we came to know and love, not using her real name when trying to rationalize Ami's statement of "You've never tutored Maya"; as if the name Maya belonged to a girl that Ami knew and was never tutored by Sensei, and the girl Maya wasn't being honest with Sensei.

perhaps that's because she was trying to kill herself.

if not, and death is not allowed, that would probably be even worse for chika and chinami. wakana is all fucked up from having an endless school year and never getting the professional satisfaction of being able to complete it and send her students on to the next year of their education. imagine how harrowing it will be for chika to see her sister wither away cycle after cycle and never break the tension of "will she or won't she die". she'll hate herself for having the thought that it would all be so much easier for them both if she would finally just be able to rest in peace. or maybe chinami will just keep dying over and over, and each time, time resets, but the scars of her passing would remain. there would be such a deep seated sadness and grief inside of her that she would never be able to put words to, and it would completely change her as a person. chinami herself would forsure lose her spark and either become completely terrified of death, or painfully nihilistic.

and then i imagine the effect this would have on yumi would be intense as well. the chosokabes are the only people she really cares about, and losing them in that way would be disastrous for her. it could serve as a catalyst to either bring her closer to sensei and yuki, or bring her closer to following her mother's footsteps and ending up in an alleyway with a needle in her arm.

Note: First Chinami event requires affection 25 or higher. Second requires 30.

Will edit if other affection thresholds manifest.
Thanks, I'll update my comment. My affection with Chinami was already above 30 at the start of the update, so I couldn't test her requirements. All of the other characters should be fully accurate, since I was below the thresholds for their events.

So I know this is a porn game where nothing is real etc. But there are plenty of things in medicine that you can’t just fix no matter how much money you throw at it. I’m pretty sure Sel isn’t modeling it off a real disease and is just going for his take on a common trope... but a couple real disease off the top of my head that could fit are things like cystic fibrosis or kartagener syndrome, and neither are things you can just fix (well with the exception of specific gene mutations within cf)

And even some of the ones that CAN be fixed with enough money usually require something else alongside it, like a bone marrow transplant (which itself requires a compatible donor, which may be hard to find if Chika isn't one).

One thing I did to reduce the grind was every time a new girl gets introduced, I upload my save to a save file editor and set the affection and lust to 100. It doesn't mark the file as a cheater, and it cuts out sooo much needless grinding. If there ever comes an event where having too my affection changes things, then I'll figure it out then. But for now, this is the best way

An easier way to do this is just use the universal renpy mod, 'alt+m', type in their name, boom, change the values, good to go. Really don't get why the URM isn't more popular, it's soooo easy to use, a single tiny .rpa file and it takes out so much annoying busy work. I can't live without it now.

I know all of us who’ve enjoyed the game have had the thought of Sensei as a Pokémon trainer (gotta catch them all!). But after my most recent session, I had a weird thought. Since Ayane has now

I love a good Daz3D game, but bi-weekly updates in Daz3D would be five minute chunks, and it'd be impossible to tell this kind of story that way. This game is massive and barely a third of the way through its story. If he'd used Daz3D, his grandkids would need to finish it for him.
not only that but Daz3D games mostly look like people posing their "barbie dolls". The good daz3d games are so few an far between. Probably because it takes so long to do Daz3D well.

I suspect the power goes out at the ramen shack every time he dies and gets forced back to life.
I thought he was the avatar of the god of wires or something? I can't follow the cryptic under story of this game and i get even more lost when i read what you guys manage to theory craft but i'm sure that one has been an operating theory for a while now hasn't it?

It's been one of my operating theories, yes. I have several. Some of them are contradictory. I kinda throw everything at the wall and scrape it off when new data invalidates it.

What we know:

The power has gone out at least three times while Sensei's been there, and Tsuneyo speaks of it as if it's happened many more times than that.
The first time it happened, there was a text panel containing only: =)
The second time it happened, reality began to distort around Sensei when he tried to go up the stairs
The third time it happened, Kaori vanished without making a sound in the short time it took the backup generator to get going.
The old man hates spiders (I cannot remember if this is also established in reference to the wire god himself, if it has been, that would definitely connect the two).

Beyond that, we have only Tsuneyo's word to go on, which we have to take with a grain of salt because she may or may not have a full understanding of the situation, and she also may or may not be actively deceiving us.

Everything else is conjecture. Whether he's an avatar of the wire god, or simply someone who's been ensnared by the wire god is unclear.

The smiley face text panel seems to indicate HOPE was intervening

The spiders bit is where I'm hung up. Spiders weren't a big deal in Chapter 1 until the rework, but they suddenly started popping up in a lot of places afterwards. My initial thought was that the spiders were the servants of the Wire God, because the Wire God was originally a guy who spent his life on the internet, and well, webs/www spider pun. But when Tsuneyo calls out that the old man hates spiders, that got thrown into doubt.

If anyone can point me to a reference in game about the wire god specifically hating spiders, I'd appreciate it.

Because if spiders are the agents of the wire god, then the old man's aversion to them is an indicator that he's trapped by the wire god and spiders are his tormentors. If the wire god also hates spiders, then it means they're probably more closely aligned, if not one and the same.

I had intended to take meticulous notes, but after my save file got overwritten, getting caught up took priority so I'm subject to my dubious memory until I have time for another end to end run.
