OR the author misunderstands what he tries to create. I actually like characters in this game and have no problems with a slower building of narrative. I just don't get why the game push me into developing relationship with all girls, instead of giving me opportunity to focus on one or few. From 6 hours I spent reading this, I got very crappy game design when you repeatedly do the same things to get the same scenes, just with different characters (first hang out in rooms, for example). It would be ok for vn style porn game, but I get that author thinks that he is some japanese visual novel creator. Well, he is not, so all that justifying of this pretentiousness has no sense, "Lessons in Love" is just a bad porn game.

I’m not sure where you’re getting the username from, but presume it’s from the wiki guide as you linked to that.
But, simply put: those characters aren’t the text you need to enter as the username. It’s instead a clue / representation of the deity whose name you need to enter.

I would guess that each purity route that gets added will be a full update's worth of content, and there will probably be purity routes for all 20 main girls and some of the side girls (Niki, Sara and Karin would make sense for purity routes. Yuki, Maki, and the children less so)

Every main and side character will get a purity route, per Sel, which will be both romantic and sexual in nature.

okay, but Selebus said otherwise, so yeah, there's a possibility, but it's not the plan. He constantly talks about 35 purity routes, not 20, and has said that Sara, Kaori, and Niki are three of the purity routes he is most excited to write, along with Maya and Io.

Phase 2 -- dark phase. We're seeing hints of it, but we're not there yet. Expect heads to roll. Literally. I suspect that will start the next time Winter starts.

IMO that's WAY too soon... I think the "Harem" phase means that Sensei gets to fuck all the girls at least once, and by now we are far from it

Phase4 -- True ending. Only available after seeing all purity routes.

Its hard for me to picture a "good" ending for this, i think it will be bittersweet at most

i think it got rid of too much of the build up of suspense and just dove right into the denpa elements too soon.

I understand your frustration, but i also understand WHY the dev did it
The first time I've played the game i abandoned it pretty quickly (after 6 events or so), cuz i thought it was just another stupid isekai/slice of life thing, with all the schoolgirls and space war shit
So i had to read some comments about it to actually know why so many enjoyed this, just then AFTER learning the "true nature" of the game i was interested
So yeah, showing not so subtle hints right from the start is a way to don't lose new potential consumers interest
Or even don't negatively surprise/scare away "sensitive" persons when things eventually get dark

I understand your frustration too , it also took me a frustrating amount of time to find this: she's on Sex Shop (visit Maki), idk how many points you need or what day of the week though

Fair enough. I'm not on the discord or anything, and this thread can move pretty fast at times, so I've never seen Selebus say those things. If they were said, then I'm likely wrong.

Are we, though? We're definitely far from it in a romance/consent sense, but will that really matter? Sensei's on a timer. He's been given an ultimatum. He may not understand what that means (or even what was said to him), but WE know it. And this game has already had two major "sensei loses control" moments in which he made one of the girls his victim. We will likely see a lot more of that as the deadline approaches.

Purely conjecture on my part: The true ending will most likely be a breaking of the cycle and a return to the way things were before the Kumon-Mi time bubble happened. Any character being kept alive by the bubble will die (Kaori, Makoto, possibly Ami, possibly Sensei, Mr Tojo, possibly Miku)
