Huh. Saw there's a new version up, and noticed that events from Sana and Rin are featured, got incredibly excited... and then considered the fact that my two favorite characters are the two I least want and expect Sensei to do the nasty with any time soon (excepting Chinami and Tsukasa). Funny porn game, this. 
BTW, I have always had problems getting LIL to run -- both on my Mac and my Windows machine. I always run it in the Renpy SDK Launcher. Does anyone else have this problem?
ETA: Obviously, posted this before playing 26.3; watch Sensei, Rin, and Sana have a fourway with Yasu.
BTW, I can see Sensei and Rin hooking up, but I think it would be a s#@$show to make what happened with Molly and with Makoto in Bluejay look like a pleasant walk on the beach. With a giant banana. So not looking forward to that. Nope.

I had always assumed that the deaths went poof on resets, though, not in the flow of time. Hmm.

Yes, one of the things that Selebus added in reworking the early part of the game was animation -- including that scene above with Ayane. Many of the H scenes are animated -- especially the repeating ones.
And yes, this is a kind of Doki Doki Literature Club kind of game. ;-)

No animations were added in the rework. Quite the opposite -- a number of animations were removed. Repeatable sex scenes have been animated from very early on.

There are three types of sex scenes in the game.
1) Mandatory story scenes. These are static, but can't be missed.
2) Lust scenes, listed in red on the event list. These can be missed if the lust stat threshold required for the scene isn't met. These scenes are also static.
3) Repeatable scenes. Once you've seen a static scene with a girl, it may unlock a new repeatable scene doing the same act with that girl. So now that you've done that scene with Anaye, you should be able to visit her in the dorm, and a sex option will appear when you knock on the door. THAT scene is animated, and is how you grind out the Lust stat.

There was a lot of the cast that you couldn't romance. Has that changed, because that was really disappointing?

Last year was spent adding 10 more main girls, so progress on the cast above slowed for a bit.
It's moving along, but this is an exceptionally slow burn. The developer has assured us that every single character with a character card will be romanceable before he's done (that's 20 main and 15 side girls). It's just going to take a long time to get there.

That was a wicked good update, Ayane going 'do it' on Kirin was delicious, Sana going to town on herself was , the girl who's name should be a flower... any ideas Bargle? Also, what do you make of Sana and Sara being aware of the Happy stuff? Any dissections of the flashing text images in this update or that new circle entity?

Dunno, i reckon she'd be kind of redundant to the story, Rika can provide just about everything on the divorce front, the Rin front and the role she plays isn't just those things as it looks like she'll be integrated into the school as the advisor to the light music club so she'll offer a bunch of stuff to the story... what would be left over for the other mom? She might show up for a scene possibly but a full side character... i don't see how or why.

Her name would either be Sakura or Daisy. The flashing text at the end of that scene is the poem "Posession" by Mark Van Doren, followed by "There is no Holiness in purity, but there is holiness in me." That appears to be an actual message from someone, rather than a quote from anything. At least, a google search didn't yield any matches.
This sequence repeats in the following scene if you select the all-cap option with Sana (which also causes you to miss Ad infinitum) The images are in the game/images/misc folder, or you can google the poem. The full poem is included in the game.
The circle thing is not entirely new. We've just never seen a face for it before. We finally have a name and something like an identity for ////lowercase, who has spoken a few times. I suspect this might be the third god, as the game hasn't really gone into much detail.
This does lead me to some confusion, as we now have Nozomu, the God of Wires, HOPE, and pareidolia as possible members of the trinty. Either two of these are the same entity, or one of them isn't a god, and I'm not sure which of those is true.
I'm also not sure which of these is User1.
Sara's reaction gives us a lot of context to the bit from the end of the beach event where someone is whispering in her ear. She's bound to the Angels in some way, and very clearly does not want to be.

I thought Sensei was user1, that or the player, 'us'.
I wonder if that holiness bit was in regards to Yasu's god being obsessed with Sensei taking the virginity of and dumping semen into the girls. The whole purity bit has strong connotations for virginity so it's basically saying 'virginity isn't holy, get fucked so i can get my hooks in you and i'll make you holy' which is something i know Yasu has harped on about.
Definitely going with Daisy in my mind for now.
