Oof... you theory folk are going to be abuzz with this update... that Sekai segment was confirmation of a bunch of stuff and that comment Tsuneyo said to Maya when the sleepover began about false memories opens a lot of questions. Looking forward to the discussion as much as i am to finishing the update. This reset is better than the last by a mile.

I'm not sure this applies in this case given the time frame. If you say something that could be uncharitably interpreted as such in the discord, it actually takes several months for you to get banned for it, and weirdly enough, the ban only goes through immediately after you mildly criticize the dev in this thread, by pointing out that this game

Dunno how one could argue you it any other way, though i went with a japanese name... for now... an english one felt incongruent with the rest of the cast and i can always edit it later.
anyone else getting this weird bug where if you open the game it deletes all your saves and if u try to close and reopen the game it refuses?

I believe you just got your data deleted from the creator dude himself, check what 79 6F 75 20 77 6F 75 6C 64 6E 27 74 20 64 6F 77 6E 6C 6F 61 64 20 61 20 63 61 72 2E 2E 2E says when you input from hex to text
So I downloaded the Update Only patch (the workupload one) and had my saves wiped out after launching the game.
Then restarting the game give me this same message

looks like it but I think it only checks for dlc requirements but I'm not 100% sure, the game from what I saw quickly accesses the internet to check if you bought the game / or dlc? , and goes to delete saves and the script you didn't

So it affects folks who have the care packages installed? Maybe that's why i'm fine, no care packages on mine since i don't give a fuck about them.

Yes to internet, no to dlc's.
I've attached a save from the end of the last update, all green, nothing missed, and my persistent file for those who got done. If you don't know, put both files in the test2-randomnumbers folder in appdata/roaming/renpy. I think a warning should be put up about the carepackages until a solution is found.

Looks like we've had some malicious leaks with the latest packages. I actually have the first and second one installed and haven't had the issue so it's something to do with the recent packages most likely.
