I like this schedule better than a two month break.

As for the dorm wars situation, I don't dislike them exactly, I think they are kind of fun - it's just the last one that was really off (from Akira being afk pretty much). The thing about events is that it serves as a way to bring the whole cast together and give them all a sort of fresh paradigm - where everyone becomes sort of on the same page about stuff, so it serves as a buffer for individual storylines until the next big event.

Do we have to have another dorm wars, and beach trip, and halloween and christmas every year instead of new stuff? That's debatable I guess. If anything, I think it goes to show that the second part of the chapter 4 will be normal enough that we'll have all of them again at least. I wonder if the next reset will fall onto halloween once again.

Also, next year has to be Sana's cause otherwise the chapter makes no sense.

I like Dorm Wars a lot, but my problem with recent ones is adding a gimmick to it by combining it with other events like Halloween. Dorm Wars works much better on it's own like the first one was.

What could also work is, instead of Dorm Wars specifically, there could be other dorm centric events like for example Sensei attending a sleep over with all of the 2nd floor girls or taking all of the 1st floor girls to the arcade or something.

Last one (0.39 Dorm wars without Sensei) was extremely boring. IMHO in general 0.39 was the weakest patch of the game.
Ehhh, I think 0.36 (Christmas 4) takes the cake. Going from Halloween (0.35) which was probably the best update in the game to the 2 month break and then absolutely nothing happening in the next update really killed the immersion. Everybody is just sad and horny and Sensei is just there like....

Yes 0.39 was lackluster but at least it had Death Ball. All 0.36 had was the cum jar.

Resonating what others have said; Dorm Wars are great, but any future implementation needs to either step it up a notch or at least maintain the same standard the 1st Wars has established. Otherwise, why do we keep observing something that isn't even unavoidable like national holidays?

There are two things all Dorm Wars except for the 1st are guilty of that I can nag about:

- The lack of conclusion/aftermath
Till this day, only the 1st Wars honors the winning dorm with something worthwhile. 2nd Wars is somewhat excusable; 3rd Wars is not; 4th Wars is such an incoherent mess that isn't worth thinking about.
This is not about "why don't my choices matter"; I am fine with every contest result being scripted. What I am not fine with is going through a supposed contest with no real impact. If making two versions of the same event becomes too much, don't. Make one event for the scripted winning team and be done with it.

- The decreasing amount of interesting contests and contestant pairings
In the 1st Wars, many of the contests are either effective segues to showcasing characters traits, deliberate pairings, or at least exciting takes on common competitive plays. In my eyes, there are well-tailored. The problem is that these good elements will eventually run out; even reusing them reduces their appeals. When it does, we have contests that either feel repetitive without new blood, or feel rambunctiously thrown together for the sake of novelty.

From what I am seeing, the major source of these unsatisfaction is the fact that Selly frames what is essentially Class A group outing into a form of competition. A competition means a little less than a dozen minigames (that are hopefully all exciting) and a prize that everyone (the girls and the viewers included) gives a fuck about. Perhaps Dorms Wars is the only activity Selly can think of that is motivating enough for all 20 girls to participate. Perhaps Dorm Wars becoming a routine is a part of the circular timeline design. Or, perhaps this framework allows easier workstreams for Selly to come up with events. Either way, it has become more and more difficult to deliver everything with comparable excitement as each Dorm Wars goes by.

Meanwhile, beach trips are also self-invented and repetitive, but every single beach update has been a banger. Without needing to frame activities into dumb competitions, beach trips often are more liberal to really utilize the rare opportunity to have uncommon pairs of characters interact that results quality events (for example, some good heart-to-heart conversations or the recent reset talks). Imho, Selly should just let go of Dorm Wars as an excuse to let all 20 girls hang out if he can't consistently come up with exciting things under that premise. They can just...hang out under a lesser cause as long as the gathering itself is interesting enough. I know he can do it if he can pull off all the beach trips, but I am not sure if his ego allows him to give up this cute but outdated idea he came up by himself that is called the Dorm Wars.

I really hope Sel reads this.

Sel and feedback is a oxymoron.
I am 100% sure that everytime Selebus reads the word "feedback" his brain goes "why would a lion concern himself with the opinions of sheep".

Dude's ego is so massive that if he collected all dragon balls, his wish would be for someone on the same level just so that he could have a worthy conversation for the first time.

Edit: Also, hey Selebus, since you're reading this, give me Rin's messages and fix the Kyoto Noriko timeline please.

Selly might be an egotistical shitstain, but every single person can be reached no matter how stubborn they are, you just gotta know how.

Also the Kyoto Noriko timeline doesn't need fixing

Anyone else get booted from the LIL discord server and become unable to rejoin it? It says 'whoops, unable to accept invite'. Is this a bug or is it what happens when you get banned from a server?

Yeah if you are who I think you are you're permanently banned from the discord.
It's not really something targetted at you directly, every single time someone gets banned over there it's permanent.
You must've broken one of their stupid rules or said something that Selebus didn't like personally, that's how easy it is to get banned over there. LiLcord is the most stupid server I've ever seen and I'm ashamed of what is has turned into.
The only way to get this undone is by reaching Selebus directly through a different platform, but goodluck doing that AND getting him to listen.
