I'd argue the issues don't exactly go away, they get murkier, cause whoever snaps their IP rights up might end up being very litigious.I guess here goes some legality dramas (or maybe not? DRM shit is tricky)

Huge, I will be waiting patiently lolI'm glad people liked it because I had second thoughts about sharing it xd
You and er3z are very kind with your words, thank you.
Umm, I will rethink some parts and make the song a little better and maybe put a bit more production on the sound and rerecord it before I do anything new with it. The thought of sending it to Selebus on the off chance he likes it did cross my mind, though i'd have to make like a burner discord account, can't imagine using my real one for something like that lol.
I am not the best with sheet music, but i'll try to write something up maybe this weekend and send it your way!
DeSkel woke up feeling like a FBI agent and gave us a marvellous gather of information to recap their past. Sometimes i wonder how some of you remember when happen certains things. So, some Niki and Maya timeline stuff:You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
As for the Maya handjob "dream", I think that was actually Maya breaking a past Sensei in a loop, like she's mentioned she's done:Sensei just recalled a past version of himself before he "broke" or in other words, a past life moments before being fucked to death by Maya. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. I dont know what this is and why it would make some relevant drama. Can someone explain it?Saw a few friends of mine on twitter noooooooing over the end of Illusion on 08/18/23; I guess here goes some legality dramas (or maybe not? DRM shit is tricky)

Thank you for the wonderful assets that make meeting Chinami possible
Without Illusion (developer/company) there would be no Lil. No Lil, no HHG, and a lot more, i guess this side would be just a third of what it is.I dont know what this is and why it would make some relevant drama. Can someone explain it?
Illusion had partnered with Fakku for western distribution and rights enforcement, but rights enforcement by proxy is always murky. If Fakku winds up buying the assets, they'll be able to litigate much more cleanly, and based on how they have behaved in the past, I'd be shocked if they didn't go full-bore after everyone.I'd argue the issues don't exactly go away, they get murkier, cause whoever snaps their IP rights up might end up being very litigious.
I'd say it's closer to half the games on this site once you weed out the abandoned games. New KK-based games pop up several times a week lately.Illusion created Koikatsu (Sunshine) and Honey Select (2) among others.
Those games come with a character creator. Thats where the girls come from.
And almost all the assets you see in Lil come from Koikatsu.
Oh shit, didn't realise Fakku was involved... fuck... I can just imagine their legal department licking their lips at this closure...Illusion had partnered with Fakku for western distribution and rights enforcement, but rights enforcement by proxy is always murky. They're not all crap, but yeah, most are.Just crappy RPGM and Daz3D games.
To be clear, I don't know if FAKKU is involved in the closure, or if they're acquiring Illusion's assets. I just know that FAKKU handles western (non-pirated) distribution of KK and Honey Select.Oh shit, didn't realise Fakku was involved... fuck... So does this mean the future of LiL is in jeopardy? I guess it would be funny if the guy who put malware in his game to combat piracy gets sued for stealing assets.Oh shit, didn't realise Fakku was involved... fuck... I can just imagine their legal department licking their lips at this closure...

He makes custom render for patreons so he is literally making profit off of illegal assets right now.So does this mean the future of LiL is in jeopardy? I guess it would be funny if the guy who put malware in his game to combat piracy gets sued for stealing assets.
Naw i understood you man, but Fakku are a cancer and i can easily see them eyeing the IP up in full so, for me at least, the water is even murkier now that i know this particular species of scum is presently growing in the pond.To be clear, I don't know if FAKKU is involved in the closure, or if they're acquiring Illusion's assets. Potentially. It's going to depend on who gets the assets and how much they care about little guys, because literally all the creators using KK/HS are just that -- little guys. The amount that could be collected by pursuing damages is probably less than the cost of pursuing them. Nintendo's super litigious about their IP, but they also have piles of cash to burn on being petty. Most companies don't, and most companies that exclusively deal in morally dubious sexual content generally want to minimize their exposure to the courts to begin with.So does this mean the future of LiL is in jeopardy?
I don't think anybody here is "licking their lips fantasizing about how this could lead to LiL shutting down", we are all clearly fans of the game and I think we all want to see how it ends. People here are speculating about what may happen. I will say I find it hard to feel sorry for a hypocrite but I still want the game to continue.Lmao I'm not surprised, I came here to see how people were reacting to Illusion shutting down and the usual suspects are licking their lips fantasising about how this could lead to LiL shutting down.
Nor am I, but this is about a whole lot more than LiL at this point, an entire market is endangered by potentially litigation happy elements. I honestly couldn't care less about the rest of the market as all the games outside of LiL I have followed are either done (Once In a Lifetime by Caribdis), abandoned (There's a long list on this one), or I dropped them for one reason or another (Harem Hotel by Runey), I just want to see LiL get to its planned developmental conclusion.Lmao I'm not surprised, I came here to see how people were reacting to Illusion shutting down and the usual suspects are licking their lips fantasising about how this could lead to LiL shutting down.
And finally, last but certainly not least, the next cards: Nao-chan and RikaNext cards: Io, Sana, Rin
