I'm totally down with telling fucked up stories, I just really don't see the point of this one. With high schoolers, you can make a point in relation to the genre (which Sel does throughout the series). Almost all VNs are set in high school, and involve a protag trying to romance them. What if we explore the idea of the objectification and fetishization of real life traumas and stories in these sort of games, and try to alter how the viewer experiences these scenarios, a sort of antidote to desensitization? That I can accept - there's an interesting point to be made, and at that stage the game didn't really focus on the MC so he fulfilled the self-insert role most of these stories have.
But with this sort of story, what point are you even trying to make that can't be made using the current cast of characters? And you can't hide behind the idea of "subversion" because your average VN isn't gonna have 8 year old heroines. It also closes far more doors than open because writing wise, adding this element only gives you one real path to develop the character - you don't cross "the line" and get away with it.
But maybe that is the intent, who knows. A litmus test on to what extent the audience can tolerate a monster and at what point will that tolerance break, or how a monster can trick normal people to "empathize" with them. Question is, do you trust Sel enough as a writer to guide the story through, or will we be talking in a few months time how it's not Sensei's fault that Maya or Tsukasa or whoever as a 10 year old tried to seduce him?

Since absolutely no one ever brought it up or attempted to celebrate for/with him, I bet his birthday is sitting roughly in the first two quarters of a year (preferably in those spring months) so the weird time mechanism of Kumon-mi simply skips it every time.I wonder if there will ever be another event on Akira's birthday, in my opinion with the fact that he is starting to remember things it would be a nice event
It’s either that or this world deletes the concept of his birthday from the face of the earth. Otherwise this womanizer’s birthday is probably like a goddamn national holiday to these girls and there is no way they’d knowingly miss a chance to do something, especially Ayane.

I feel like the story has a huge plot hole that everyone has forgotten about.
So... you know how when you start a new game, everyone thinks you're the same Akira as always?
Not Maya, she knew WE were controlling him and that it wasn't the same person anymore, so what happened to that? Did she forget or did she willingfully ignore that and still decided to fall in love "Akira"
It might've been so long ago that I forgot if there was anything to tackle this but at some point it seems that Maya stopped talking about it completely after she realised this new Akira could survive resets and just decided to cope and live in a lie.
another explanation is that she realised that it was still the same Akira, because he technically behaves, talks and acts like the same person, regardless of who (us) is moving and controlling him. But you can also argue that's not a good explanation because during critical choices, we are still the ones that dictate what to do, just like in the "Tsukasa Wizard magic training" choice in this update. We chose, not Akira, he is still a souless puppet.

She knew he was reset, and believes that not all resets are the "real" Akira, but she starts believing he is the "real" Akira because he starts remembering his past.
Also she doesn't fall in love with him, she is always in love with the past him and keeps loving him even through the resets.
I think the game will finish after luffy find the one piece.

Maya thought others were reincarnating into him, but she was wrong.
Maya tends to be wrong a lot. Hence why Noriko is damn near a Saint, but a fucking crazy psycho bitch in Maya's opinion.
We also don't actually control Sensei. If he doesn't want to do something then we can't force him.
Hence why we can't talk to New Maya or do half the things we might want. Even if we do tell him to do something, he'll simply ignore us if he wants, like when it comes to Uta's picture which he keeps whether we delete it or not.
Tsukasa is only optionally safe for now, thanks to us. Not that it matters, considering he still has her number and the story will end up going however Sel wants.
