Most likely your PC running out of memory (RAM) it happens to me too, I used to play on laptop but when I switched to desktop it fixed, try maybe to update renpy or redownload game (it has now newer version of renpy engine)
Everyone who could deny that, will be able to deny everything. It is a really impressive trait.

When i first saw this post i was half done with the update and thought you might be a Selly troll, but it turned out to be extremely helpful, so thank you.

Ah, ok.
I did miss 3 scenes, the Io one and the threesome ones with Chika 'cause i picked Yumi instead of Ayane.

I'm trying to figure out this new happy event by looking through the code, it's an event within the Amy mall event but it specifically cannot be done in a replay:
But i cannot figure out how to return to that event without using replay. I'll keep investigating...
The flag 'alexisisreal' is set during this update, the jump request for it is set to false after completing the alexsisevent...

0.45 event triggers
There are 18 events in total. All events are automatic and linked. After the final event you'll be back to your room and able to free roam. (See the end of the post for the happy event)
There is one unlockable Maya Outfit during YET ANOTHER reset event.

I'm not entirely sure how it works, but it requires you to rewatch the Happy Event "Amy", after completing the current update. From then on, it will be green even on saves before the current update. My guess is that you simply unlock it by rewatching "Amy" on replay, but on the offchance that isn't the case, you can trigger it through URM and that will do the trick.

Oh god... what if the fact the event trigger is within a previous happy event means we were all meant to not do that event until now... what a monumentally fucked up dick move that would be for Selly...
Edit: the event isn't able to be flagged as missed yet and it only seems to set the 'alexsisisreal' flag back to false whilst unlocking the scene for replay so... dunno what effects that will or won't have on the green path if that turns out to be the case...

You have to actually load a save in the Amy event, since persistent variable remains true across all saves, and you'll be able to find the scene.
