Do you plan on updating the guide mod???PDF guides updated to 0.16.0p2. Guide mod updated to 0.19.0p2.
This shouldn't need to be said, but only use the version of the mod that matches the version of the game you're using. Using an outdated version shouldn't actually break the game, but the new events will not appear on the event tracker.

I said all events in order, as in just one button I can press that starts and plays them all. I don't want to have to remember if Rin's 3rd event comes before Sana's 3rd event and after the 10th main event, etc.You already can, the only difference is you have to start them yourself. Go to the event tracker and click on the desired event name.
You could always just start a new game if you wanted to re-experience everything in order. And if you don't want to grind, you can use cheats and keep those saves separate from your "pure" ones.I said all events in order, as in just one button I can press that starts and plays them all. All this debating back and forth regarding certain details I thought were explicitly stated makes me realize how little I apparently actually remember of the story.
Am I gaslighting myself? Why are HOPE and the Wire God being discussed as two separate, opposed entities? And especially with regards to Yasu, I thought the whole point of the Wire God was that it was essentially a divine otaku and a description of us as players. Locked unmoving in front of our computer screen, digging our wires like roots into others so that we can live vicariously through them. Am I remembering wrong?
Yasu, at least, is definitely worshiping something that fits that description but did I somehow make it up out of whole cloth that the Wire God was like that?
We know the Wire God and HOPE are separate, because of this line in Trinity pt II:No, a lot of things aren't explicitly stated, they may be stated to a degree, implied, hinted at, but a lot of what we talk about here we talk about specifically because things are left open enough that there are multiple potential interpretations.
Wire Tree and HOPE have been stated as two separate beings or at least implied to be, and I do believe they are the two at odds with each other . I know for sure HOPE was at odds with another god, but I just can't remember who.
You might be onto something with that description of Wire Tree and Yasu is definitely worshiping something like that.
ho "YOU HAVE SPENT FAR TOO MUCH TIME HERE FOR A MAN WHO DOES NOT BELIEVE"
ho "PERHAPS YOU WERE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE"
ho "SOMEONE WITH MORE WIRES"
ho "WIRES AND WIRES AND WIRES AND WIRES AND WIRES"
I honestly believe Yasu's god is different from all of these (though I suppose it could be the concerned god, or maaaaybe Nozomu if instead of dying he just lost all his eyes). Nozomu is also listed as Sensei's brother on the headstone at Amy's parents' graves, so who knows what that's about. In the end, all these loose ends in the story make me super curious about how things will turn out, and get more of Selebus' story. Almost as excited about that as I am about the girls. We know the Wire God and HOPE are separate, because of this line in Trinity pt II:
The divine entities we've been introduced to, are, as far as I can tell:Code:ho "YOU HAVE SPENT FAR TOO MUCH TIME HERE FOR A MAN WHO DOES NOT BELIEVE" ho "PERHAPS YOU WERE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE" ho "SOMEONE WITH MORE WIRES" ho "WIRES AND WIRES AND WIRES AND WIRES AND WIRES"
My chief takeaway is that I have no idea what the fuck is going on.
- Nozomu (first mentioned in Rewrite and then in a couple happy events/other resets), a horny light creature who created the world by fucking a fleshlight. Linked to callousness. Has lots of eyes. Dead, but maybe not really? USER1 seems like it's this one, or possibly HOPE.
- The wire god, first alluded to in Trinity pt 2, but then given an origin story in There Is Nothing. Linked to trees, fruits, loneliness, and calmness. USER2 seems like it's this one.
- The concerned god, about whom basically nothing more is known. We hear about it in There Is Nothing and then again in Word of the Day. USER3 seems like it's this one.
- HOPE, which is actually the first one we met (in How I Feel), and which seems an awful lot like Nozomu, but is different in other ways. Usually speaks in ALLCAPS but sometimes doesn't. Has angel buddies and hangs out with 61. Hasn't been seen much during winter; he says he doesn't like snow.
That gets tedious to do real fast, it's Selebus's call, but I would suggest not adding something like this when the current system already took enough of an update to make it the majority of what was added.I said all events in order, as in just one button I can press that starts and plays them all. I don't want to have to remember if Rin's 3rd event comes before Sana's 3rd event and after the 10th main event, etc.
That's what I'd do, but that still leaves the majority of events up to a player's preferred order since there is no real forced order aside from ones with prerequisites. You could always just start a new game if you wanted to re-experience everything in order. And if you don't want to grind, you can use cheats and keep those saves separate from your "pure" ones.
Exactly, other than events with prerequisites. This isn't some kinetic novel. There isn't a "correct" order. In fact -- one key plot element is contingent upon which order events are viewed in.
I thought I distinctly remembered them being separate. Nicely done with the evidence and thanks for the reminder. We know the Wire God and HOPE are separate, because of this line in Trinity pt II:

I believe her god to be Wire Tree, I could have sworn she was mentioned as a follower of that god. What really interests me is whether anyone else realizes they actually exist or are actually visible within the LiL universe.I honestly believe Yasu's god is different from all of these (though I suppose it could be the concerned god, or maaaaybe Nozomu if instead of dying he just lost all his eyes). Theme of sex of very persistent throughout her descriptions of her god, though. Sex is kind of Nozomu thing. But also she's all about being a vessel for her god to experience things he himself cannot, and that is a Wire Tree god theme, so yeah.I believe her god to be Wire Tree, I could have sworn she was mentioned as a follower of that god
I sometimes think that 3 gods represents 3...concerned parties, invested in LiL. Tree God represents the audience, us, while Hope (assuming he is one of three) is the avatar of Selebus. We know the Wire God and HOPE are separate, because of this line in Trinity pt II:

I've been asking myself that same question for over a year.I sometimes think that 3 gods represents 3...concerned parties, invested in LiL. Tree God represents the audience, us, while Hope (assuming he is one of three) is the avatar of Selebus.
But yeah, basically what the fuck is going on.
There's obviously a lot more to it but if those are concerns of yours then this may not be the game for you.Hey, I'm new to this game and I'm insanely creeped out by it at the moment. The main character comes off as aggressively fucked up, which is twice as creepy since he's some sort of body-swapping self-insert. Is another shoe going to drop soon or is this just a game about a gaslighting rapist fucking girls who thinks he's someone else? I'd like to get out early if that's all we've got here.
I don't know how to judge "soon", because I'm not sure where you are in the game. I will say that you are absolutely correct in what you have noticed, that the situation in Kumon-Mi is deeply fucked up and what Sensei is doing is abhorrent, and the narrative is not unaware of this fact. There are moments of new information which recontextualize a lot of what's happening, and extremely satisfying moments where Sensei gets called on his shit (one of the girls slaps him at one point when catching him doing something fucked-up, and I rolled back Ren'Py like half a dozen times to watch it over and over).Hey, I'm new to this game and I'm insanely creeped out by it at the moment. Wait, do ppl actually play the game this way? Grunting through their teeth and waiting for some consequences? In this case, is the problem Sensei being a scumbag (because that's the case for most mc's out there) or the narrative repeatedly acknowledging it, but not doing anything about it?I don't know how to judge "soon", because I'm not sure where you are in the game. However, the narrative is a very slow burn. There isn't a "shoe drop" in the form of "everyone realizes how twisted this all is and Sensei reforms," because, without spoiling things too much, part of the horror is that what's going on affects people's minds, not just altering them but preventing them from noticing that they have been altered. At the start of the game, the narrator says this: This world was made for you. Please enjoy it to your heart's content. I am pretty sure that is not Selebus talking to the player, but someone within the fiction of the game talking to Sensei.
It is totally valid to go "sorry, the path to getting to the payoff is way too uncomfortable for me, watching Sensei be awful is too gross and I am bailing." People have different thresholds of willingness to put up with unpleasantness in their entertainment. But, from someone who had similar realizations while playing the game, I can say that there is payoff (though the game is still far from done, because Selebus has Ambitions, so the final payoffs are still a long ways out).
In my case, the problem is that Sensei is a scumbag, the narrative eventually admits it, and nothing is done about it. I got to the point where heWait, do ppl actually play the game this way?
