Such is the curse of that family. Let's see how Niki is going to get destroyed because of that (a second time). Also there is a chance of the sisters getting cucked by their mother, forgot that was a thing lol.

Bingoogus What's your take on OOT now breaking the 4th wall with the last update? I find it quite anyoing and i wonder if StoryAnon took an example in LIL, which would be quite sad.

Didn’t have Sel’s self-referential glee. ;)

My sense was that it was supposed to feel like the whole game was deconstructing — adding to the general sense of WTF that pervaded the whole last update.

I liked the chapter, though the reversals and revelations came a bit fast and thick—but found myself thinking, There’s another 49 after this?!

I haven't yet made a compilation on this, but a lot of what Noriko says and does fits with her being fake. Obviously it could all be a red herring.

It's likely a red herring. But then again, Noriko's presence, Niki's unexpected rise to fame (noted by Noriko herself), everything about them leading to Akira recovering memories, that's very much on purpose. So I guess it's more of a question of how much of it is on purpose (following the school's destruction only in this cycle - and Ami having no idea about who Noriko even is when Maya storms out of the classroom), rather than if any of it is.

Oh, another minor thing, but who is the pink haired person in the upside down house?

fair, also I'm gonna be real. I have no idea how to spoiler stuff or hide it like that with the button or whatever. I'm kind of an idiot and don't have the brain capacity to look it up on my own.

It might already be kinda apparent but when I get emotional I seem to also become quite a bit more irrational which leads into me just pushing my thoughts into the ether in some vain hope, probably desperate for attention.

I get it though and I've deleted I think a few of some of my more nothing posts when I realize it's just nothing. I'm trying, and yeah maybe just.. making one post like that would be for the best if I knew.

There's no theorizing this time, it's just a really powerful sentence that becomes increasingly powerful the more you know about their backstory:

Yeah, that's enough to cry because if Akira had his memories not in a million years would he pick anyone over Maya. Noriko's shock says it all.

On other news, we have the spare key situation resurfacing as confirmation that Maya has the spare key/knows where it is.

and she says that while holding on to her (their) scarf not to cry. Goddamnit, Selebus.

One event goes from making Noriko's situation really sad, to then making Maya's situation ten times sadder if you know what's going on. Tears.

Edit: now, this is something really weird of Noriko to say because at this point Maya didn't talk to her about this at all.

Day 12 character count 2039. This one is exceptionally short. I got partially distracted by another game so there's not much to read but progress nonetheless.

My sense was that it was supposed to feel like the whole game was deconstructing — adding to the general sense of WTF that pervaded the whole last update.
I did think they might be related since SA has mocked Selly for that a few times, but in a way it felt more like he was demonstrating how to do it right... if it can be done so? I didn't exactly like it, but i don't think i was supposed to, it was interesting though and i'd argue it was well made, in the same way a person might spend an hour styling their hair just to make it look like they haven't styled their hair...

I forgot about this, and now with my current knowledge I will go back and replay the event and feel sad. d(-.-d)

Not shown yet, I think, but I'm kinda sure she was also referenced in a Happy Event at some point, don't remember which or in what context, something about a key, but not of the same color you know.
