It has been a long road having to deal with her denial arc, and here's a reminder of one of her most pathetic moments of denial for those that need to be reminded (just jump to the post):

I wasn't ready for the full power that Ayane brings into this conversation in destroying Chika (and she doesn't even notice).

I am looking forward so much to the next update regarding Chika's downfall, for, in the words of Dexter Holland: "She may not have a clue, she may not have style, but everything she lacks, well, she makes up in denial."

Not a perfect fit since she has a kind of style I guess... But, seriously though, let the truth be revealed though the heaven's fall. Praise be. It's been a long time coming and it will finally be over.

I find it quite interesting how Chika is so timid when it comes to ayane.Like she threatened to brutalize Ami infornt of everyone for her love but when it comes to Ayane all that fire just dissapears.How interesting.You know what that means right?

Nah that was poor phrasing on my part.I meant that while yes birthdays are clearly a thing they are completely background stuff yet for some reason Kaoris was given the spotlight.

You're right, birthdays happen somewhat regularly, hell, Akira went on a "date" sort of for Ami's birthday without knowing it was her birthday in chapter 1.

What is exclusive to Kaori is that narrator says "she's turning 23". Which begs the question: "is she turning 23 every year?", or is the Narrator referencing her increasing age based on this specific cycle, like she started being 21 and is now 23?

She's probably always turning 23, just thought it was interesting to mention.

If they're being reset, she's assumedly always reverted to being 22. Characters don't physically age past the date of a reset, otherwise they'd all be dust. Which means either they age normally until the reset and are reverted, or potentially no one ages at all, but since it's usually a short amount of time, no one notices themselves not aging (probably less likely.) I'm guessing the narrators line is just to highlight how she doesn't care about those things and is odd, and focus on what she's doing with Nao, personally.
Maya Prime is an interesting case because she'd not been reset for so long. She also didn't age though, and we can be 99.9% certain her brain didn't age/develop despite her body not. She doesnt have alzheimer's or something. Even though she's 'super old' (based on how many years she'd been conscious consecutively,) her brain was still the same. So she's really only like 16 still, she just happened to experience thousands of years of time at that age. Still doesn't have a developed adult brain, though. Poor Maya

Edit: The interesting thing about Maya is that it shows that even if you're "not reset," your body still is. That, or they really don't age after all cause >simulation or something else

Kaori and Yumi are lucky enough to have birthdays on holidays that would have events anyway, so they get mentioned more often. Other birthdays happen when it's convenient for the plot.

Same thing happened to me, it just worked when I reloaded the site like five minutes later, probably an F95 thing. I've had issues where it's taken like 30 minutes to attach an image before

Still no go for me, i know what you're talking about and that's usually the way it goes for me too, but i have a hazy memory of trying to load a really really big image a while ago and never being able to, i think someone made a shrunken version i was able to load but i'm not 100% sure on that.

Still no go for me, i know what you're talking about and that's usually the way it goes for me too, but i have a hazy memory of trying to load a really really big image a while ago and never being able to, i think someone made a shrunken version i was able to load but i'm not 100% sure on that.

That's weird. They're 4k .pngs, maybe that's it, but it shouldn't stop the image loading entirely. I can load them just fine now on a separate PC, too. I wonder if f95 has an issue with http requests for larger images or something. I was gonna say I could screenshot them and paste them as an experiment but MF just beat me to it so all's well that ends well.
