I'm trying to figure out this new happy event by looking through the code, it's an event within the Amy mall event but it specifically cannot be done in a replay:

    if persistent.alexisisreal == True and not _in_replay:
        jump alexisevent

But i cannot figure out how to return to that event without using replay. I'll keep investigating...

The flag 'alexisisreal' is set during this update, the jump request for it is set to false after completing the alexsisevent...

There are 18 events in total. All events are automatic and linked. After the final event you'll be back to your room and able to free roam. (See the end of the post for the happy event)

There is one unlockable Maya Outfit during YET ANOTHER reset event.

That's it, we're finally out of the reset. What a mess to have to do two puzzles this time.

I'm not entirely sure how it works, but it requires you to rewatch the Happy Event "Amy", after completing the current update. From then on, it will be green even on saves before the current update. My guess is that you simply unlock it by rewatching "Amy" on replay, but on the offchance that isn't the case, you can trigger it through URM and that will do the trick.

Oh god... what if the fact the event trigger is within a previous happy event means we were all meant to not do that event until now... what a monumentally fucked up dick move that would be for Selly...

Edit: the event isn't able to be flagged as missed yet and it only seems to set the 'alexsisisreal' flag back to false whilst unlocking the scene for replay so... dunno what effects that will or won't have on the green path if that turns out to be the case...

You have to actually load a save in the Amy event, since persistent variable remains true across all saves, and you'll be able to find the scene.

Oh, I think both are super straight. There was a scene during the update in which this was explained pretty much, which was Yumi's reaction to being accepted and even a desired presence by Makoto on RAS. That was very heartwarming, it's not sexual in any way.

Tbh, Yumi's character arc is blooming - she says a LOT of stuff during this update about what she wants out of her life, about how hard it is to talk to her mom and even Akira to an extent. Big growth.

No-no, I didn't mean sexual part. Like, love can be platonical or however it called. I loved how wholesome it was, just a bit triggered after remembering that 99% of main cast are horny bisexuals now. Like, it was Kirin's main trait, but now it is everyones trait, lmao.

But yes, for me, 4th chapter is more like Yumi's chapter rather than Sana's. God, I like Yumi even more now.

Were the puzzle answers hidden in previous events? If not, my current takeaway is that with the happy event being hidden in a different event, and with literally requiring us to go into the game code itself to search for the puzzle answers, Sel is forcing us to keep thinking about all of this exactly as it is - a game. The puzzles are easy in that they're just one line answers you can easily find in the code. No bullshit searching around, etc.

Also this update was a fucking banger. Loved every single event. Can't remember the last time I was this engrossed by an update (including the last one I guess)

Happy event is located inside Amy event and can be accessed by loading earlier save. As far as I see, you'd even get a green check mark inn progress tracker if you do it within another save

More or less these are just first impressions on some of the stuff I think could generate discussions.

Edit: forgot to add that Ami is likely the insane narrator that GOES LIKE THIS. Don't know if it's always her when it goes like that though. The entire story is changed by what was revealed this update, I'm sure a lot of us will be replaying the whole thing in the next months anyway. We can compare Ami notes then.
