Can someone remind me of the significance of the white cat appearing in some scenes?
Iirc the leading theory was that it might indicate Himawari being present, or at least someone shapeshifting into another person, i.e. a person not being themselves, no?
I'm asking since it appeared during the Ami-Maya rape recording scene, but I don't see a connection to other scenes that the white cat showed up in. It really doesn't seem like Himawari was involved. Unless it was never Himawari in the first place but actually Prime Ami who possibly shapeshifted or at least influenced characters.
I feel like that cat will become significant in the future, as a "Ha! See, I already planned this way back when, there were hints!" by Selebus.

So I'm doing what I always do, where I refuse to accept things at face value because we were told early on that nothing is as it appears and because of that I trust literally nothing...
1) Was that an alive Sekai, or was did Ami somehow figure out a way to create one so that she could have her happy ending?
2) Likewise, is that Ami actually Akira's daughter, or did Ami and Sekai simply tell that Akira a beautiful lie?
These questions may not be relevant in the short term, but if that version of Ami could create a dead woman out of nothing, then OUR Ami might potentially do the same in the future if she figures out how.

Might just be Selly being cheeky and calling Makoto and Yumi "new friends". Or new gods, like HOPE being back or that absolutely annoying clown god Giuseppe. I wouldn't put it past him to throw in red herrings in the announcements or to just be purposefully vague in general.

Correcting myself: It wasn't the video game god, and I don't remember there being a different one. Someone addressed Sensei as "new friend," but it must have been someone at the YMCA (I am not putting myself through that again to verify)

Didn't they find a box labeled Ami in Ayane's house during Halloween part 1? People thought it was Maya's box, but what if Ami is keeping her boxes at Ayane's to keep them away from Maya?

Maya or Ayane would make sense. Though it's Ami, so in her head she probably had reasons to kill pretty much anything that would anatomically allow for Sensei to put his wiener in.
The Vine man in the pool directs you there, Amy asked you to save the game and revisit her later when you were in the mall.
All people and creatures in the Waiting Room. Sensei even said goodbye to them before entering the portal.

That's a really old save for me and I'd have to copy over some stuff, are there thing I need to avoid over-writing to not mess stuff up? Like I just loaded my old save, and it shows me as not having gone through the 0.45.0 Maya events, is that fine?
If I finish the event, and then copied back my latest save will it then show that I have finished the 0.45.0 Happy Event in the events list?

you don't need to finish whole event, just load any save game from that mall and find taco bell there.
Also, if you do the Chika Generic Maid Cafe event, Sensei mentions "Never having a reason to go to the mall ever again" which might also be a hint to the Amy event.
I might be reading too much into it though lol.
