I'm sad my impossible puzzle theory was wrong. Now that would have been devious. Needing to go back to 0.42 feels like further than most puzzles prior, though it may just be that all puzzles are this rough when playing update to update instead of binging them as I was for all previous ones. 8-some hours of rereading to sniff out the missed stuff/misplaced notes, though it's a nice excuse to revisit good scenes (cope).

Interesting update overall. I don't like giving my thoughts when authors are watching, so I will save more detailed impressions for private correspondence - I shan't make a ritual of detailing thoughts after each update here. It's neat to see F95 so positive on it, though. I had expected the opposite at points.

Just completed the update and...
This is one of the best updates!
I, pretty much, was at the edge of my sit the entire time, at least until the "puzzle", which was bad as always.
And, thankfully, this update not ended on some cliffhanger, so I can wait calmly even though Sel will take a month off to take a breather.
After some unwinding I will go check out the earlier comments here since I am sure whatever I want to write about this update here, was written there using better words)

Downloaded the save, placed it in both the local game folder and the appdata save folder, but I get an error when trying to run it.

I'm curious what other generics have changed. Someone already pointed out that visiting the mall with Ami (call her in the afternoon) shows that the mall is closed and filled with....meat. Alexis mentioned that there was a part of their mall that was made of organic matter that was "far away" so definitely some kind of connection there.

All of those generics have been in the game since the start of Chapter 4. They were just locked behind Sensei's depression.

Doing a replay and I'm at the 3rd reset event. In said event Maya, when asked about watching people disappear, says the most traumatic was watching Ami disappear. This is apparently something she's seen multiple times considering they are roommates. After .45 this seems off if Ami is also able to traverse resets.

Is Ami disappearing

False memories implanted?
Ami just teleporting or whatever to confuse/gaslight Maya?
Ami really being reset and if so, does that mean mega-ami can timeslip into this timeline when she wants too?
I'm sure there are other theories that I'm not seeing at the moment.

Everyone disappears during resets. Remember how at the end of Chapter2/Start of Chapter 3 Sensei went to look for Maya, but Ayane couldn't see her? Maya had disappeared. Ami was standing in the corner and nobody could see her, because she had also disappeared.

If you're able to traverse resets, when you disappear your conciousness begins the reset challenge. If you're not able to traverse the resets, you just disappear, but EVERYONE disappears until they complete their challenge.

Elaborating on this, is there a "spoiler-free" guide for the resets? I'm dumb and tend to just cheat (without URM) when the puzzle gets too hard, but is there a guide for where to find the answers of the puzzles that aren't found in the reset itself?

When you select Swim, a scene plays out. When that scene is finished you're back at the menu. Congratulations, you've done nothing (because there's nothing to interact with in the scene) and can move on to the next line in the walkthrough.

Maybe I'm missing something, I've following the 'guide' and click swim, go through it and back to the menu. There is no show ID option that comers after
