Hello Mr. Bingoogus, I hope you're not still too mad at me to read this post :(
I'm not mad at you, you're simply not worth reading, you're on ignore, i only noticed this post just now as Vehemental above me quoted it and i was looking for further context to what he said. A lot of people have you on ignore. I won't be checking for your replies, you want my attention? Best bet is to get mocked by someone who's opinion has, at a minimum, the baseline level of value.

we can find her in dorms during generic event and raise some affection right now.
The two main bugs in this version are:

* Maya visitable when she shouldn't be

* If you invite someone from the phone menu at night (or almost any old animated scene - In my specific case, it happened after inviting over Niki) , after the event you end up in the pre-chapter 4 hub. This means you get the old usual Ami telling Sensei to wake up, followed by a jump to evening, with the city background. On weekends you can go to the mall to visit Chika, or go to the Koi Cafe to see Rin and Haruka. If you end up in this situation, it's an easy fix with URM, search for the label `morningch4` or `noonch4`or `nightch4`and jump to the label. You can also not do that and revisit the old generics for nostalgia's sake. You can grind your Rin affection for example.

Apparently this bug is because at the end of the animated scene there's a jump to the label "endofsat" instead of "endofsatch4". Same thing with the non saturday label. This is because Sel hasn't updated the code of the old pre "senseisad" animated scenes, so by default it drops you on chapter 3 menu. A non-URM solution would be to activate a scene with a proper chapter4 jump, maybe the new Molly scene for example.

Or, if you want to, you can edit the animatedscenes.rpy, adding a conditional on every scene to jump to the ch4 label if the chapter4 flag is active, or to the ch3 hub if not. I don't think nobody wants to code that much though.

Those are a lot of complex questions into one. Let's take it step by step. I warn you that the following is a highly lore heavy post, take it slowly.

tldr: Pareidolia is gone and spring is godless. Both HOPE and Wires wake up to try to takeover it. Wires goes to save Akira and fails, USER4 (probably) has to come in to save both Wires and Akira. HOPE goes to save Ayane and Yumi, he succeeds. Presumably saves Makoto as well (although she was more or less safer than them). Akira has memories of his timeline (since he was saved by Himawari/USER4), the girls that were saved by HOPE don't. It is unclear who has spring at the moment.

I don't consider the events of the waiting room to be that important, it's likely a lot of nonsense. If I had to point out some things, it's the dude that seems to reference Noriko's symposium, Himawari's presence, and that the angels call the roof where Ayane and Yumi are at also "the waiting room".

Well, most of this is up in the air, so take it for what it is. Anyone reading this will probably leave even more confused than they were at the start. You're welcome :ROFLMAO: Now you have some idea of how my brain looks like when I'm playing a new update (it's a mess).

Oh, that's rich after all that dumb shit you said about Sensei Quest. Hunting for events is part of the hostile gameplay experience, sweaty. Who are you to subvert the dev's intention? You gonna skip chapters in Moby Dick too? :KEK:
Lol. I'm not playing the part of the pretentious overlord right now, so I can say that yeah I actually skipped the Cetology chapter in Moby Dick. It was boring and I didn't like it. When I started LiL I didn't know much about the game and used the progress mod since it was recommended, so that wasn't exactly an informed choice, but regardless now when recommending the game to people I link them the progress mod and recommend using it. The sandbox and hunting for events is poorly implemented (which is to say it's indistinguishable from lazy/zero effort design even if it does have a purpose) and not worth all the time.

That said, please do continue jumping on any moments of hypocrisy you find so that the fine gentlemen in the thread read my posts, I miss them dearly.

I think It's pretty clear that dude is severely autistic. I'm not super sure why he's choosing to constantly post in a thread where it's clear nobody likes him, but I also think it's probably best to just block him and move on instead of shitting on the poor guy.

That's mean. I'm sure someone likes me. Skwada seems nice.

It's kind of unfortunate being mean/insulting has such an impact on people's perception. If I made an alt account and disguised my writing style and was nice, everyone would like me even though it's the same me on the inside. Just like everyone liked Selebus when he was pretending to be GSwole here. It was funny seeing people shit on Selebus then immediately positively react to GSwole's comments. It takes someone with really open eyes to always judge people on the inside, not on how they choose to present themselves. That said, right now it's kind of thrilling to be disliked, which is one reason why I'm still posting (and neurotically too).

This is actually a cool find; I was pondering whether being able to visit everyone again can indicate the return of some normalcy to Sensei's life, or can be used to indicate fates of certain characters after reset7 (looking at Nodoka). But such thought would have to be put on hold if this type of unintentional feature exists. Which is a shame honestly; the man did put efforts into adding new dialogue variations even in generic events to reflect on very recent development like having sex with Kaori and Io (or not), but still he just can't help fucking things up elsewhere.

And speaking of visiting Maya or any girl in the dorm for that matter, I really wish Selly would revisit all the dormgen event dialogues and do some appropriations to reflect on how far you're into the journey. It might be plentiful to work extra on something not fruitful, but it just feels so unauthentic to be this deep in the depressing era and still read dialogues like "Chika rambling about being tired of working at the mall" or "Sensei joking about about not recommending Makoto to a good school" when you visit them. Come on, get with the program.

HAHAHA man that recent review. Now that is good comedy. The contrast between the high praise at the start of each section with the NTR "drop" at the end is impeccable. Incredibly based.

(if not interested in more NTR discussion just skip)

It has been brought to my attention that some of the recent reviews about the game have been focused on it needing an NTR tag, and even though we have addressed this discussion on the thread, it seems like we haven't provided enough support for these people. So if you feel betrayed or appalled by the NTR in this game, here's a post for you.

First off, should this game have an NTR tag? Imo, yes, absolutely. Unfortunately, for all that we joke about it, Selebus isn't here. And from his relationship with f95, their relationship with the game is not the best. So who knows how that would even come to be.

Anyway, if you decide to stop playing the game because of recent NTR scenes, don't leave feeling that you're at odds with us - the community. I, for my part, wish you goodluck and completely understand your decision. The premise of a game where the only dude is you could easily be seen as misleading in terms of an unspoken agreement of Akira being "safe" from any "competition". While we sometimes joke about the NTR-hater crowd, this does not extend to actually reasonable people raising reasonable concerns.

May you find appropriate games, and if you ever change your minds, we'll be here - hopefully with a proper tag. (although if the tag ever happens I can already see the repeated "what kind of NTR does this game has?" being the new "I need a save" lol)

My first impression is that User4 did that. I think it said User4 had been given Admin privileges before the virus stuff happened. Id have to replay it though to confirm or write off that impression.

Edit: Speaking of bugs. If you are on a save where you did not sex the Sara her scenes when you visit the bar have been unlocked for you, presumably unintentionally. I'm not sure there is a similar bug for other optional girls, I have not tried to look for one.

There is also a bug where if you play the replay for "Restart" and press End Replay during the boss fight instead of playing it to the end rollback will be permanently disabled unless you play the replay again lose the fight and play through it to the end.

Yeah I enjoy reading your posts, especially the shitposts :p

re: people disliking it when you are mean/insulting, isn't that natural?

Also while we're on the topic, I'm curious - roughly how old are you, what do you do for a living, and how did you achieve such a high level in that rare skill known as media literacy? Also, why did you change your mind on defending the game's flaws?

To keep it even, I'm in my early 20s, work as a swe, and the last question doesn't apply to me cos my media literacy level is -69 uwu
Yeah, it's natural. But we don't want to be swayed by emotions like that. We don't want to like Ami because she presents herself as a super-niece and writes cutesy poetry when in reality she is extremely self-centered and malicious (as also reflected by her "honest" poetry, which is thick and dark); we don't want to dislike Maya because she's vitriolic to us at the start when in reality she is the most devoted partner imaginable. Actually I had a longer reply to this but I just noticed someone who reacted positively removed their reaction, maybe afraid to show support in public, maybe because it was a misclick... very disheartening. I no longer wish to type a lot at the moment.

Also, behold ye faithful; those who have put me on ignore are unaware of GSwole's identity and make silly posts as a result. Beware!

Brothers I am too lost in the theory talk of this thread and too sleep deprived to figure it out on my own. Could anyone link me to the guide for the waiting room puzzle event if it exists? Ty

If we ignore the realities of polishing all that content being work Sel didn't want to allocate yet, under the hood senseiissad = false at the end of the day. On some level things are back to normal.

Bug might be too strong a word for it. Sel disables rollback for all of the Sensei Quest fights. ren.py replays are essentially playing events again with a basic wrapper to cancel back out of it. And disabling rollback is a global setting.
