Specifically, it's one of the blue flavors of Gatorade with cheap-ass red wine. Which makes it a college party tier beverage.

Like when I put vodka in my Mountain Dew and acted like I was some kind of mixologist. Thought I'd still drink taht over gatorwine.

Sooo.... it seems like he doesn't see a difference between the lolis wizards and the class which is retarded. I think there will be explicit wizard stuff but behind an unofficial "fan" patch or something.

It’s shit like this I don’t get. You present a moral question to people regarding this stuff, your story basically BEGS people to think about these questions, then say shit like that and undermine the very point of your whole story. How can one be a such a good writer, and yet completely disconnected from the impact of storytelling? Mind boggling idiocy.

It is particularly silly when you don't have a CHOICE with most of the girls. It isn't like I actively decided to pursue high school girls. I have a LOT of red. I am into this story BECAUSE I think it is fucked up and because I enjoy Akira's slow redeption and doing what I can to help him. I am quite happy with Nikki or Sara. I do kind of enjoy the coming of age romance stuff, but I would enjoy it more if the boy was their age and it were less... explicit. Like I said, though, a big part of why I play is because of how fucked up this all is. Jives with my own childhood experiences to some degree and jives heavily with how fucked up my brain is. No happy ending, everyone is fucked. Terrible shit goes down lots of places all the time and no one even gives a fuck. Why should this story be any different? Why should Akira get better? Why should these girls be okay? I WANT them to, but I don't expect them to at all, and I guess that is why I can't look away.

If I could try to interpret this stance on the situation, my initial reaction to this is that Sel can't avoid the reading that someone fine with sex with the rest of the class but upset by sex with the wizards is actively moralizing fictional sex depictions based on their real-world morality. In other words, by projecting some of your real world morality into the fictional world and avoiding sex with wizards, Sel extrapolates that when you enjoy engaging with the classroom you are ALSO makings decisions based on your real world morality.

With just this to go on, it seems like Sel only finds your morality consistent if you either:
A: Find grooming and sex with students repulsive and don't want to see it even in ficiton.
B: Don't apply real world morality to fictional characters and are fine with seeing anything.

I see where it's coming from, but I think it's a pretty reductive take. To use myself as an example, this position would find my stance on gore as simlarly hypocritical. I don't like watching extra gory horror films not because I find it morally reprehensible to depict necessarily, it just makes me personally uncomfortable to see past a certain point. Some bloody and realistic depictions are fine while others are too gratuitous and just overwhelm me. It's not that I "morally and intellectually can't watch the terrible thing happen" I just start having physical reactions to certain visuals that I'd rather avoid, given the choice.

You explain it pretty well. For me personally I am just really good at ignoring things that bother me. I can even ignore wizard stuff if it happens, but I won't ignore the emotional impact of it happening, just the repulsion of it, which I can do precisely because this is fiction. I think Selebus must know that one can do things like that or how could he even write this stuff? I don't think that he is that kind of sicko, I think that he is delving into the darker parts of humanity. I could be wrong, but it doesn't change my reason for consuming this media. There are WAY better games for boners. Frankly I am glad that I like erotic games or I never would have found this twisted little horror gem that uses my affinity for the erotic against me.

Awwww that was actually kinda sweet other than Ami bringing one of my suspicions into the light. As soon as some of that part was first revealed about him, I always had that suspicion that it was the case but now I'm even more suspicious of it. Though it also might confirm something else, who the person Ami talks to is... which might have been hinted at before actually but I'm not certain.
