We're also at the point where we can judge the aftermath of it. Io is already over it, she's apologised for not really being able to give you what you want, she wants some extra outside of sex love, and has stopped trying to hide from you at the end of 0.45
Not to mention, I’d say my analysis breaks down somewhat when you consider that Sel constantly shits on you for choosing red route. Authorial intent can be understated (which is generally good I think), or it can bash you over the head and call you a moron for confronting the choice honestly and making the “wrong” one (which is bad I think).

In a world where Sel wants you to enjoy the game, perhaps it would make more sense to just consider the red route more viable as a choice. But ultimately it will almost certainly continue to yield an inferior story, as Sel no doubt intends as a punishment.

Can you get Chinami's and Tsukasa's green paths in a single save?
There is only one green path. Choose Tsukasa, or you’re off green path. According to author, it is possible to get all events green in a single playthrough, so in that sense, when given a choice in game, there’s a “right” choice and “wrong” choices only.

You must be talking about Chinami's event "Holden Caulfield" where you're given the choice between Chinami and Tsukasa.

In this instance, you have to choose Tsukasa to continue green path for both of them. Chinami doesn't know anything about advanced literature so choosing her does absolutely nothing here, you want to interact with Tsukasa instead.

My God god, you guys took an interesting time to discuss such heavy topics - on New Year's and right before the update :HideThePain:

I think I can speak for (almost) everyone here that nobody wants to see any explicit scene involving wizards. In fact, I personally find it hard to imagine a way that it would not end up being inherently tasteless.
However, I am not here to tell the author how to write and portray his story. If Sel deems it necessary to show certain parts of it, then maybe he will find a way to make it somehow seem worth it.

But as you guys already discussed, I doubt it will happen this way. First off, because it would be very brave, if not foolish, to try and pull it off when it's very much risking his revenue stream to collapse. And we know Sel enough to imagine how much he would want to avoid that at all costs.

And while the character models themselves may fall under the Loli category, the way they have been presented and their ages basically established, I don't think that would go well, probably not even on this site and certainly not on a funding/donation website that has much stricter rules.

So in the end, I'm fairly certain it will be simply implied. Which would be horrible enough. Definitely a new moral/emotional low blow for the reader. Let's just hope that if it comes to that, Sel will deliver it in a relatively decent manner, if there even is one.

Also, Happy New Year everyone lol! :LUL:

Happy New Year to you too!

Also, sorry for starting a kinda heavy subject on a festive day. I’ll try to be more mindful of timing when I muse in the future.

Iambic what now? Y'all really be learning about Iambic pentameters at high school? I don't think I ever had to learn that and if I did, I probably were never given the name of that.
Poetic meter -- and especially unrhymed iambic pentameter -- is covered in US Literature classes whenever poetry is covered, which is every year.

9th grade: Romeo & Juliet
10th grade: Julius Caesar
11th grade: American Lit, so no Shakespeare, but we cover poetic meter when talking about Walt Whitman and Emily Dickinson
12th grade: Macbeth

what time is Selly gonna drop the update?
Assuming he's doing the same time as last year, or normally, then 13-14 hours are left. If it's early maybe 11-13, this isn't accounting for how long it takes someone to leak it here but assuming they're done with festivities then it could be 9 minutes or more, altho imo I wouldn't mind missing out on LiL for a few hours if they're doing festivities, they do a great work and deserve it.

PS: My bad if I'm blabbering, I just woke up badly from a nap.

My prediction for this update is that it will be tame and not super interesting. It could be just me, but I feel like it’s common that post-reset updates are kinda mid. That’s based purely off vibes, though. I hope it’s great, though.
it's interesting if there's tsukasa innit, that's all im gunna say...

So while I’ve been waiting for the update, I’ve been playing through Nier Automata while also watching the anime (which is really fucking good somehow).

What have folks been playing to pass the time?
