On my way to the new content, i did read up on some of the generic events and Ami's stands out. It is basically just praysing here, which of course lets one think of what we learned of her. But now i wonder -mostly because i dont remember- was it like that already before the last update? Does anyone remember?
Yeah this did not surprise me at all, however Maya's take on it all did, I figured she wouldnt remember it for ome reason. Seeing her scared of Ami fucking sucks, I hate it.
There are 20 events in total. Most events (save two) are linked. The chain begins on a Friday. After Christmas is done with the main event "Post Nut Clarity", you have two other events:
19 - Tsukasa 2 (automatic on a sunday afternoon).
20 - Otoha 2 (visit her dorms, triggered for me on a weekday).
*How not to miss events: There are A LOT of flags being invoked, including one for Futaba which will fail a lot of events if not present. It happens during "The one with all the sextoys" and it needs Futaba Lust 40. The next one happens during Futaba's event, needing Molly's lust 10. If you got the two of them, then, and only then, Tsubasa's event will trigger.
Other than that, Kirin's blackmail will be checked leading to a difference in dialogue, as well as multiple calls for Tsukasa's route having been taken. The "amifingered" flag will change her conversation with Niki in the backstage. Most importantly however is a Himawari variation that needs Ayane affection over 3k. This happens during "Post nut clarity":
Haven't been able to pinpoint what the new two animations are. Will edit as I find out. There are also new invite over costumes for Kirin, but I have no interest whatsoever in those.
Edit: New animation 1 is Imani at the dive bar. 2 could be Makoto at the porn shop, but I think that one already existed.
It also has been pointed out that seeing the Himawari variation unblocks Maya - mind you, it doesn't really matter that much since the events you get access to are the old ones (like Maya prime old). And the shrine will still remain locked.
I think there is a real sense of moving into an "endgame" sort of. Obviously not the ending to LiL yet, but in the sense that everyone kind of knows about everyone, and there was even a reference to the purity routes (although not by that name).
Similarly to Kirin, Otoha gained a few points in my book by being fairly reasonable and, again, underlining how she really is the most teenage-like girl from them all, with the hormones and uncertainty and all, but without this inherent base attraction towards Akira. (also holy fuck, Otoha looks good in that outfit, especially when she started to fake-seduce Akira)
This is even directly mentioned earlier during the Christmas Party:

I hate to admit it, but she definitely gets some brownie points this update.
I think it's odd Otoha gets the "boring" label just cause she doesn't want to (yet anyway) be railed by Akira, she has a lot going on, and is certainly polarizing we'll say.
Interesting lore drop. I wouldn't mind more info on that actually. I recently searched something up that lead me to find that indeed he used to be on the page and did talk down the mods a bit but I don't know the context. It would explain why he complain about piracy so much, specifically the care packages.
I've had a bad night so I'm not putting in the normal effort I'd normally do. When Sel started making the game, he posted it here where it got a TON of exposure (and people pledging) to the point it's probably still the largest source of income the game has to this date. It's never gone viral elsewhere (to the point that a reaction image from the game went 300k retweets viral on twitter a month ago and we were wondering if something interesting would actually happen due to it)
iirc this merely got his f95zone account banned. Then at some point he outsourced some save deleting DRM which would wipe every LiL save from your computer if it detected a care package was installed. The DRM being hidden in gui.rpy and a random image from the dorms (imagine savedeleter.exe renamed into a jpg but it also displayed a usable image.) Apparently that one got the game shadowbanned from the site (Which is why it doesn't appear on the update queue. The only new people who show up in this thread basically lurked long enough to be recommended the game from other people, or in my case very specific tags and arranging by game score). This probably stopped any new income coming in from f95zone's audience so good job mr dev I hope you're happy.
So are those >3000 love events supposed to be just Easter Eggs or actual canon events for people who data mine (i.e. check URM or code)?
I haven't checked those out yet, but without having spoiled myself too much, at least this one seems rather insightful, I suppose?
Because if they are actually relevant to the plot, I'd find it a bit annoying to hide it behind something that you would only find out by tinkering in the code and also only realistically achievable by cheating.

First one has lore implications. Second one was just a music choice during a recap at the start / end of an update. I haven't seen whether this update rewards you for having the ayane lust or punishes you. It looks like she takes the scarf from Ayane which could mean she's stopping you from connecting to Maya but I'll have to see whether that's me reading the images wrong and the script actually portrays it as a good thing.

I'd say it's relevant to the lore and it's canon, but it will not happen onscreen if you don't have enough Ayane affection points. And to prevent any future flag that requires 4-digit Ayane affection points, this is how much my Sensei loves Ayane now:
