Wtf? Sara really gave the storage key to a stranger named Matthew of all things to get a birthday banner for Kaori instead of just getting it herself. At that point it's not even laziness, I don't know what that is.
Matthew is one of the best subtle jokes in the game, but there's a chance you haven't idled during the school week long enough to know it thanks to AutoVN

Dude, why is Maya so easy?
LMAO

The care package thing again... Does it have anything what so ever to do with the dlc's?
I'm guessing one was named after the other. If there's a deeper meaning it isn't discussed much.

...isn't that the mystery girl sitting up there? I almost missed her...
Good eye

Sorry - why is he a dickhead for putting reset info in a happy event (as opposed to any other kind of event)?
The whole reason "reset info" exists in the first place is because people were skipping the happy events in the first place. Now you can't skip the existential horror of the game to get to the watching a guy fuck teenagers part of the VN because Sel thinks the game needs to be played on his terms. And I'm not convinced Sel's done enough to squeeze the good out of choices like that to outweigh the absolute slog resets have become due to it.

I've come to that idea purely based on ingame dialogue from Selebus. (I can't even remember if it was huggy boy exclusive but it was blatant)

Noodle Girl experimenting with tomatoes...

Spaghetti Time? And Sana is getting attention this update....

So, Sensei don't invite her, apparently.
I doubt anyone's getting invite events until they're ok with being touched by Sensei. Io's not there yet.

So, 22 is gone, 23 is collapsing, and Ami is giddy at the idea of going to 24?

Sorry for asking, but does anyone know the scene name in URM for "You are a very bad boy" the scene that happens right after Molly/Sensei bathroom happens? Tsubasa scene I'm pretty sure since that one is also red, but I can't find it in URM.
'christmastsubasa1' is the label for the Tsubasa event.

I personally didn't have a problem with the reset puzzles until Word of the Day A Life of Prizes because my GOD that one is long. The problem with puzzles asking you to recall random info from previous events is that if you scatter too much info over too many events it becomes too much to follow. I just passed word of the day A Life of Prizes though so who knows if the later ones are even harder.

I agree with the making sure people actually see the events with the information because I think not engaging is missing the point, but I don't agree with punishing the "cheats" like raise affection because that's just grinding. There's nothing gained from grinding after a certain point. That said I've been playing with guide mod, I imagine trying to play through the game blind would just suck. Game design faults aren't the same as narrative or art faults though, and the game's narrative is definitely engaging.

I think the Selebus being a little bit caustic doesn't really detract from the game being engaging art. I don't know too much about the beef but I actually wouldn't be surprised if that was part of the conflict. I wouldn't consider LiL a good game, but a it's a good piece of art. This is a site mostly for porn games and LiL is only tangentially either porn or a game.

Edit: Whoops, mixed up the event names

Okay, guys, I tried to do something in Koikatsu Studio.

90% of the work done here is on their skirts, because they just don't give a fuck about gravity. So, I have to fix them manually. The poses are pre-made Koikatsu poses.
What I really want to do is understand how to use lighting and shadows, because most KK h-games have the worst lighting I've ever seen, except for Imani's winter outfit, which is way worse.

Damn this one hit pretty hard. Guess I'll be missing another event. Honestly I stand by the idea that Sensei's gonna end up taking a metaphorical boot up his ass for every morally dubious green event.

Lastly, it could be random, maybe it is but:

So you're suggesting photography could be one of Himawari's hobbies. Another of her hobbies is cosplay.

We know of something that combines those two hobbies: a box of photographs (physical photos! in the year of our lord 2020!) of the girls wearing Halloween costumes. This box just so happens to be stored in Himawari's family home.

I bet you see where I'm going with this: the box is labelled with the name of its owner.

I hope you have a save from when you got off green path. Feels like you're gonna just red path from this point on.

I imagine the care package dlcs were named after that. Maybe people liked the concept of different aged characters or something.

I'm sure there'll be some I opt for anyway, like I didn't avoid Haruka or Sara. If it comes down to it my save file is literally 3 GB and 400+ pages, I'm sure I can roll back to whenever. If only the game kept track of what text I saw when I download a new version. Not being able to skip with impunity is pretty annoying.

More like something right? You'd need to be up to date to appreciate how many layers that has.

go look under /game/ for streetnoise.mp3 and listen to it for at least 60 seconds. That's the ambient audio you'd hear after school on the street. Then have the idea that you've probably heard those 60 seconds over 200 times if you've reached that point in normal gameplay. The joke isn't Matthew, it's Wonderful! Thanks, Matthew.

Yeah, I've listened to that audio over and over and over and over and- I hate it. I keep hearing it in the dorms, it's driving me crazy, probably gonna give me ptsd or something. What I don't understand however is that section you marked in spoiler. I haven't heard that part and if it's there, I would rather not deafen myself trying to find it. You didn't provide a timestamp, only said to listen for 60 seconds but the first 60 seconds don't include the part I've heard so many god damn times. And no, autovn doesn't magically get rid of the track, it's always there, always haunting you.

it's between 40-42s. Just a male voice saying Wonderful, Thanks Matthew. Dunno how you hear it in the dorms but autovn so ~shrug~

Well that's weird. I didn't know it wasn't suppose to play in the dorm. I usually tend to hear it in their rooms but I imagine it only happens when autovn does it's thing. Fun fact about that too. If I'm in the dorms through autovn and I want to go somewhere else, I have to scroll back to before the options appear when the screen is black. I think it probably applies to other events as well. But I believe it's only the dorms that replays the track.
As for the 40-42s mark, yeah... you should have told me he has a strong accent. I had to listen to that repeatedly before I even noticed who I was meant to listen to and even then it was hard to properly hear it. So I guess the joke here is that Matthew is this helpful guy who you've been hearing the entire game who just so happen to visit the bar at that time.

I'm sure some smartass brought up "When's Matthew gonna appear" like I was winding up to do.

I have never observed anyone talking about that sound file, not once, i might've missed it buried in a spoiler in a conversation i only skimmed but if so, at the absolute most, it's barely been discussed... so i'm not really understanding why you're making out it's some common thread reference/in-joke...

Why did I not put any thought into this until now? Both Noriko and Kirin are younger sisters who are the underdog at everything and they both live together. Both main girls, both big sisters are side girls.
Most of the girls have connections with each other. Try to find these connections, at least, among the 2nd-floor dorm.
