Rin has blonde hair at some point. Is that a chapter 4 spoiler? Sure. How early can you find that out? As soon as you get 5 affection and do her first dorm event in 0.46 (current update) because Sel has made all the generic dorm events use the latest chapter 4 models since the whiteboard messages update every update and masking away the whiteboard is too much work. Want to get more than 2 rin affection per week? Get spoiled, nerd.

I try to be contentious of spoilers to the best of my ability, but I don't wanna break rules if I missed it or something, so I'd be curious about this.

I doubt a mod came in, this is like no man's land to them, a graveyard of lost souls and miserable memories. Maybe a newer mod who came and change Moonflare's post because they're still a bit on the new side if anything.

But I'm also frankly new myself and don't know what else could change a post like that

This is gonna blow your mind but we actually do mark spoilers. I've been here for a damn long time (too long) and I know that after every update, all discussions about the update are hidden in spoiler tags.

We do not spoiler-tag content from 1, 2, 4+, etc years ago because that would just be ridiculous. There is an effective TTL for spoiler-content in a story that's consistently being updated and discussed because at a certain point it is assumed if you're interacting with the thread, you'll have played the game enough to ... well, be interacting with the thread.

Several hours after a newcomer complained about spoilers and was not agreed with by the thread regulars on the nature of his complaints, one of my posts was edited by a moderator and they sent me a message to use spoilers when necessary. We haven't had any problems related to spoilers in this thread for a very long time, maybe years even. I submitted a ticket (inquiry to the moderation) explaining and asking further about the situation.

Exactly. The crux of the matter is that we self-moderate to a certain extent here since we're a fairly active community and try to keep things healthy and inviting, and thus, even though we rarely see them, we do have a measure of respect for the mods. So if they're going to step in, we want to cooperate - we just can't if they don't provide further instructions. We already use spoiler tags as needed, and there is a consensus on their use between the regulars. This is a highly abnormal and suspicious instance, thus the need for the ticket.

Holy shit, I missed that happening; thanks for the info. I feel sad that things have gone this way over the last little bit. Hope we can get back to what we all LOVE soon and discuss this psychologically damaging game in a constructive and positive environment.

Been lurking since like v0.18 I think, and I still think that this thread about this game is only the thread to use spoiler tags so often honestly.

it's really like a book that's been out for 1, 2 ,4+ years like you said, you really can't expect the main thread of discussion of a popular(popular? is this game even popular idk) visual novel and not have people discuss about the latest details, espeically on a day near update release day, people want to guess what happens based on the previous update, people like Moonflare want to talk about their latest crackpot theories(never seen someone so gung ho about their idea more than Moonflare) and most of people, people love here love to share and talk about everything about this game; it's a bit unfair to expect everyone here to be hush hush about what their favourite scene was or their favourite character did and how it defines their character growth, including our protagonist.

If Moonflare's ultimate crackpot theory ever actually becomes real, do we call them the Lessons in love prophet or the second coming of selebus?

Hmm, who really IS stronger? Ayane or Yumi? Yumi probably hasn't been training, her body is just good and she has had nothing better to do than wander the streets, so her legs are likely in very good condition. But Ayane has been training and have relied on some of that wealth for it but may not have the genes of a fighter like Yumi. I think many would say that someone who has trained is usually much better than someone with good genes lacking training. The way the body works means you usually rely more on technique than pure body mass.
