My question is, who was the narrator in that event?
Maybe it's our old pal, you never know after the confusion fest that was this update, then again I might be just confused because of the fact I no longer can remember what happens past more than one update. I still really need to do a replay, all just to forget everything again but hey, that's fun.

I've been wondering but are you supposed to reapply the gui.rpy every update or have I been wasting time
Yeah, that's my understanding—if you want to keep the DRM'd material in-game, you need to re-add the "clean" gui.rpy every time.

I just have a separate folder with an old version of the game (0.32, I think?) with the care packages. Don't feel like I'm going to keep it, honestly—I haven't revisited it in over a year.

Short answer: the DRM is always triggered by the code in gui.rpy when you launch the game, but doesn't do anything even with care packages installed as long as they've been cleaned of unique IDs (like the ones in the OP). But you never know what the next DRM will look like so it's a bad idea to apply new updates to a game installation that contains pirated subscriber-only content.

Or block the lil.exe in your firewall. Though, don't know Ren'py's/Pythons capabilities, so he could try to call a different exe.
Just that naturally, as far as i know, windows can't FW block entire directories, so you'd have to search lil dir for all possible exe's, or get a 3rd party prog capable of doing so.

Gotta say i wonder if he has the drm armed still. As you also think, Sel/the guy who dev'ed it very lilkely does this by IP's (No unique user ID's/authorisations are involed).
- Is IP storage even legal in the US?
- Might this be the reasons some legit users got their saves deleted? (Playing on devices with diffrent WAN IP's?)

At least it showed us Karin realizing Akira wasn't lying about what he said on the bench.
A lot of of her anger stemmed towards her belief that he was trying a copout excuse, only to realise he was telling the truth.
I want to use this as a segue to my question about Touka's explanation. How is she that certain about Sensei's blackout situation? Or rather, what does she mean when she said "it's practically common knowledge to all of us (1-A girls) at this point"?

We know he has blackouts. We know the cause of some of his blackouts. But when and how do the girls know? And to what degree? Even girls like Ayane only learned about and started to be mindful about his blackouts very recently, and now it's everyone's common sense? Your teacher will from time to time get possessed and it has become as regular as Monday blues? And also, everyone? Really?

On one hand, I am thinking that Touka knew some of his mentally unstable moments, came to at least partially embrace some of the indescribable natures surrounding Yasu and Sensei, but overgeneralized these concepts and inadvertently made us, the viewers who actually know more, think that she also knows quite a lot. Otherwise, why would she go straight to using the word "possessed" instead of just describing him as merely "mentally unstable"? Especially after her recent experience with Yasu and right after Yasu said "It's not just me (who get frequently possessed) either! It's Sensei too! We have a gift!"?

On the other hand, I can't help thinking that this is a cheap, overly convenient cop-out solution to let Karin learn some of the truth and force her back to the love arena, paying little attention to which person can reasonably deliver such truth. I can't help thinking I am just some nerd nerding the fuck out about some miscellaneous things.
(Seriously, what has Touka experienced that warranted her the confidence of delivering that explanation to Karin? Did I forget something?)

Any special event prompts/requirements this time? Got a few quickly but so far the Uta events haven't popped.
0.48 Event Triggers:

There are 18 events and 3 new animations. I have added when the events called for variations, but there aren't that many. No events are missable and most of them are either automatic or linked.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
The animations are inviteovers for Sana, Nodoka and Molly.

The text from Tsuneyo 1 is reversed.

Finally, as a reminder, 0.49 has been delayed and it will only be coming on May, 1st. Next month will be full of filler content as a "celebration".

Edit: Added affection requirements.

I bet the Halloween night she watched him convinced her and maybe since she talked about it with Ayane and Makoto?

I guess it would be explained the same way as how now everyone knows his name is Akira.
Words spread.
The least what happens when Akira is around someone and going mentally offline/has one of his epsiodes, is that he acts on autopilot.
Though, i guess we don't know or at least just got a tiny glimpse, of who or what takes over.
He still seems to be capable of walking, so he might be able to talk.
And this might hint that someone/something else might occupie his body, or that he has a very drastic shift in personality during that time. Maybe showing off his true colours, his base predatory self.

Also, 2 month have passed between Halloween and Christmas, who have been silenced.
So, during those months, lot of thing can happen... I mean, just look how everyone handle Sensei when he was talking about the «ShitMonk» (Yeah, I hate them); nobody care!
