I don't think it blocks off a whole Maya scene, but it significantly changes one, because a large chunk of the scene is her chastising Sensei for boning Ami.

I can think of a few lines that get changed (the beach one, and the one where she's in front of two lanterns) but I dunno about any 'large chunks'. This sounds like an excuse to re-watch every Maya scene!
In my case, "she" would be Otoha and "it" was the relationship. The way I see it, Otoha agreed to it in order to stall Rin's increasingly unhealthy behavior. She is quite literally grasping at whatever girl her depression addled mind targets next to get her out of the hole she's in emotionally because she was rejected by Chika. She is extremely desperate and anyone who gets in her way is seen as a threat to be dealt with, including Molly in one scene, potentially violently if it comes to it. Enter Otoha, a girl Rin's mind targeted, who then agrees to a relationship in order to calm her and buy time to get Rin the help she needs.Wait which Maya scene?
There were several candidates for 'she' in the quoted text, and several candidates for 'it'. Can you clarify who and what you meant?
That has been my theory on the Rin situation since she blew up at Molly in a previous update. Spoilers are for anything that even comes close to hinting at real events, read at your own risk of being spoiled.
I wish, but nobody in charge of permitting shows to air would let that happen. On that note, huggy boy adult comedy show when?
You don't get Now More Than Ever at all unless you're fucking Ami. Which is a shame, because it's a very lore-heavy event.

Just a quick theory :
Idk if someone else posted something similar but i think maybe Sensei was "abused/manipulated" by his brother's wife (Amy's Mom) which was also his teacher, so when he got in a relationship with his student (Maya) he felt he was doing the same thing with her and freaked out.
Another one (this one is far more crazier): In "Good Boy" (happy event) we saw a girl from the past that looked very similar to Maya (could be her mom but that's irrelevant for now) maybe Sensei got a crush on her and never got over it so that's why he got far more interested in Maya than Noriko or Niki.
(BTW the theory about all this being a "simulation" with all the users, wires and glitches, still stands )
funny thing, when the bird question appered i thought i went WAY TOO FAR and started digging the answer in the old chinese tale "Bridge of Birds" but then i remembered the tale about the "star-crossed" lovers (Maya event) and guess what.... the bird bridge for the lovers was indeed made with Megpies

This much is practically confirmed. We suspected they were in a relationship almost from the very beginning of the game. There were subtle nods here and there. We suspected that relationships weren't consentual, I'd say, a year ago or so.Just a quick theory

It was most likely Sara. There were weird time travels happening last few updates.

IIRC, he specifically attacked the "it's just a game" theory. While there is a genre called Simulators, not all simulations are games. The Matrix being the best example.

I just started playing this like 4 days ago and can't stop, just got to the Christmas event and that "what they deserve" is truly the kind of devotion I would expect from what I've seen of the game.
It's taken me through most possible emotions already and my only regret is that I'm a filthy neet atm so I can't support it yet but I'm really glad it seems to be going well in that department.
I wish you the best and if it does go on for years, I wholeheartedly support this and if it does get cut short in the meantime, it'll probably also be for good reason.
The affection and lust, humor and horror, prose and poetry all blend together in a masterpiece, and if this is only the beginning, I have no doubts you will succeed in whatever you wish to accomplish.
