I'd say it's the other way around, and the missing replay tag is the bug while releasing mayablock is intended. Otherwise there would have been no reason to duplicate most of the text at that point. He could have hidden it behind the check itself if both routes were supposed to set the same flags. I would imagine next set of maya events will have a check for a certain amount of maya_love that'd be impossible to have without the chance to farm it outside of mayablock.
Most of the christmas event starts on a friday if you have seen enough of the other events and is a chain. There's also a otoha hangout event and one more random one somewhere.
