So we have reached the point where Sel only has the main plot and has ran out of ideas for filler content so he wants others to do it for free (well, technically while THEY pay him).

Why even do the Dorm Wars at this point? They were pretty good the first few times, but after a while, it’s gotten to the point where it just feels stale.

I wouldn’t mind at all if the Dorm Wars took a hiatus and something else was put in its place. For instance, the Camping Trip was a good example of doing something different for the majority of the update. The change in scenery was unexpectedly pleasant and it shook some things up temporarily.

Just something, anything new, I would be open-minded for. The Dorm Wars just doesn’t really get me hyped like the first two did, especially since not a single one except for the very first one ever actually delivered any sort of reward for the winner.

The fact that even Sel is like ‘fuck it’ and is leaving the contests and face-offs up to subscriber polls shows he is just as apathetic about the Dorm Wars as anyone else. It’s another bump in the road. Another obstacle. One that ‘has to happen’ because tradition demands it. But it really doesn’t.

Corroborating what Zuko said, I feel like we risk just doing seasonal content because we have to, rather than it serving the story. This may seem like a minor concern, and it certainly is, to an extent (I like the DormWars btw, even if Imani's sucked).

But we have two months of Selebus off, then one month of LiLfest, then a month of forced seasonal content with the DormWars, if Christmas and Halloween don't follow the same template.

None of this is the end of the world, nor it's that alarming, I just wish we had more signs of a planned out story focused progression with clear signposts to the lore rather than what these signify.

Oh, sorry, I must have logged into discord by mistake. I thought I was at F95. You know, the place where I can both praise and criticize the game.
PRAISE BEing the only acceptable discourse on the game or its developer, thank you.

Yet you're still playing and talking about it. Must be some gourmet shit.
Calm down, Quentin. Salma Hayek's feet are in a different castle.

The fact the account is deleted? Here's one of their last big posts that people would recognise and their actual last post that in doublespeak reads as a account suicide note
Allow me to express my condolence to our brother in Lord Christ Almighty Princess Euphy. I can only blame Selebus for his incompetence and hubris. Although we haven't interacted much in his days, yet his gracious and idiosyncratic ranting has contributed much to our community and thinking. Now we are left with scarce lore discussion, banal coomer fetish exchange and kitsch Selebus shitshow (anathema to you for taking convenient music list away, it's public free music you took for granted at first). What a loss. May your memory be eternal.

Worry not! I'll ask my AI to make him live again!
