Slapping her girlfriend in anger isn't justifiable, obviously, but it's not shown to be something she thinks is okay or normal or anything. It's the only abnormal thing about her being "well adjusted" you could really point to, aside from that one incident she's a normal teenager with normal interests.

As far as her circumstances go having pretty conservative parents is a perfectly normal one. Depending on where you live it's the most common circumstance, even. Otoha doesn't have any serious mental illness or horrible traumatic events in her life that we know of - just two parents who are dubious about their teenage highschooler daughter living apart from them and want her to check in regularly when she's out late and get good grades. She's pretty much just a normal teenager with a relatively realistic amount of sexual experience.

Aside from her Rin, Kirin, Noriko and Futaba spring to mind but I don't think Rin, Noriko or Kirin are particularly well-adjusted. Futaba's pretty much normal but I initially forgot she existed lol I guess she seems like a good contender, though her parents situation makes things potentially abnormal. She's got normal interests and issues for a teenage girl though, really.

I've started making my own psych evaluations of everyone, but that will take a long time, as just Chika and Yumi already is as long as this entire post - so if it comes out, it will come out - eventually.

I had to split the question 3 ways because if you try to average all 3 you get wrong and not correctly interesting answers. I mean Otoha being the most normal / least fucked up? If this was chapter 1 my answer would not be her, but unironically the most normal girl right now is Yumi.
Yes, she is a poor girl with abandonment issues AND a Yakuza princess, but apart from that, she posseses the most common sense out of anyone. How many times does something absurd happen only for her to be the only one to see it for what it is and call it out? Her origins might be extremely rare but her behaviour is something you could actually expect from a normal person. From being mean, rude and straight up heartless due to her upbringing to maturing emotionally, now she's just a normal girl who's got a bit of a character and is going through hard times, but that's it.

If I had to choose second place... ofc it's Noriko (again) She is a disgusting brony that wants to fuck her teacher and all of her friends, and her sister is a super famous idol that everybody knows, but that's kinda it?
Everybody else is literally worse in olympic tier of metrics.

Touka has some very real problems, she's just fully aware of them and managing them appropriately.

Her future isn't her own, she is trapped by the Tsukioka legacy, and ultimately, the husband assigned to her (inevitably the son of a high-level manager at her father's company) will be adopted formally as a Tsukioka and he'll be the one to inherit the company. She'll never be the CEO. She'll transition from CEO's Daughter to CEO's Wife and take over the Foundation, because that's the woman's role.

This is precisely why Tsubasa is nudging her to have a wild streak now, because Tsubasa didn't, and has to live with that regret, so now she's trying to experience it vicariously through her elder daughter.

This also means that it's very likely this will create some real issues with Touka's mental health in her adult life, but those won't likely manifest until after she's married.

Amazing Ranking, thank you for compiling this data for everyone here in this small community!

To continue off what Mike.Ross80 said, if this ranking is used from tier lists from different times in this thread's history(I know of 3 massive times this threads gone into best girl tier list ranking) taken into count, we can not only view this as a ranking of the most popular characters in F95zone, but also a possibility ranking of the most popular Lesson in Love events in F95zone.

This could explain why the confusion people had with Uta and other characters being ranked so high. I believe the selection bias in this game is very difficult to remove, as it is a ongoing game with a continuing narrative and with plenty of character events to still be played out. From what I'm seeing, people have really enjoy Rin and Yumi's events with other character thought to be unpopular rising up the ranks due to their events and how they're being written into the story being more and more enjoyable to read through, or more spine-chilling to read.

Of course I'm not 100% sure of this, as I'm couldn't be sure how Touka and Sara would be ranked so high if it wasn't for the community really liking the characters, their events, and their designs(Big fan of Touka myself).

Someone else smarter than me could probably figure out that out and poke holes in what I mentioned but it's a interesting thought that might lead to the discussion of the recent quality of characters events to hold us over until D-Day.

The only thing I couldn't confirm is how old the tier list data is, it seems like it's been taken over a course of 4-5 months, starting from December 2024.

You might be right, especially if most of these lists were posted around the same time ranges. Like during one of the 2 month break periods each year. Could very well see the girls who were featured in a good way bump up (and in turn some of those who looked badly, fall)

Well, thinking about it like this, Yumi is indeed a "tsukkomi"-type character. While everyone in the main cast is a wild, cock-obsessed teenage girl, she is one of the straight (in both meanings) characters who understands that Akira is a predator and tries to keep her distance from him. Of course, if we will drop her in the real world, she'll be the outsider who wants her teacher (though more romantically, but she's not totally against sex with him)... But comparing to any other character in the main cast? She's she the straightest (in both meanings) girl.

Noriko though... egh, she puts some illegal stuff to Akira's meal/drink during 1st Dorm Wars. Also she carries knives with her (but we can omit this as a comedic component of her character).
