Speaking of Molly, there is something she said during Nodokathon2 that peaks my interest.
Back then, Molly used "common sense" to help Sensei move forward, saying that
she would definitely know if she did get impaled during
Lavender Green, and it is a very valid reasoning too. Even in the face of unexplainables such as Sensei's checkmarks or Sekai's suggestion on what really transpired that night, the claim "I would definitely know if I got raped better than you do" stands undeniably tall, though there
is this one charming theory about Molly being fixed physically by the gods on the spot after getting raped (and perhaps presumably killed) so she
miraculously might really not know better.
But if she did stay true to her claim or if this charming theory did become true,
why would she still be so vague and uncertain about it even now? Why isn't the answer to Nodoka's question a simple YES it is true? Shouldn't she be saying just that if it's for the exact sake of her Supreme Overlord? What is going through her head when she is specifically targeted by this touchy subject?
To me, this at least implies that even if what Molly said back then does make sense, she lacks even the most fundamental confidence in her own statement, and even till this day, she lacks courage to really check herself. She would rather leave the real answer in limbo and drown herself in uncertainties with Sensei together or worse,
she would actually lie to Sensei about what happened that night if that's what it takes to have him stay on Molly route. No matter what the case is, it doesn't necessarily mean that "Molly is no longer a virgin" becomes a lot more likely after today, it is just how surprisingly shaky "Molly is still a virgin" is, even to Molly herself (which is also something that gets repeatedly made fun of in this update).
I also have a hunch that this might merely be a case of Selly writing Molly's dialogue using viewer's perspective instead of her own so that he could keep avoid progression and I am just a massive overthinker, but I rather not think about that for now.
