"Prime" and "Primaris" are just close enough to be confusing, but I do agree with "Prime" for the first Maya we meeet back on Day 1.

Maya Prime: Day 1 Maya
Nu Maya: Post 2023 Halloween Maya
Old Woman Maya: The Maya we meet in this update. She's been doing this longer than our Maya, she's more jaded and more weary
New Nu Maya: If Nu Maya is in fact killed in this update and we have to start all over again.
Snu Snu Maya: If Nu Maya is in fact killed in this update and the new Maya is significantly hornier than Nu Maya was.
I think prime, new and alt Maya is enough for now. we don't know for certain if the maya from 0.45 sits in the past, future or even another timeline altogether, from where I think alternate maya, or alt maya is appropriate for the moment (until we know more).

I thought the same, but she as a narrator is capable of much more than when she's actually present. Maybe we're dealing with different instances of the same person again? Maybe Himawari-narrator is more advanced (in time) version, that actually got conceived, where Himawari-shapeshifter is how her journey begun?
I like this idea.

I like the pace and form the game has been taking the last few updates, even if we had to sit through Akira's whole depressed state for too long at the start of chapter 4. The choice to detach his presence (even if there are exceptions) from events happening has probably been my favorite thing Sel did to shake things up, as it lets him explore much more stuff that wouldn't be possible otherwise

I think Alexis is an actual scene in the game we haven't found yet because Sel refers to it as such

ask me about birds was heatwarming indeed, bizarre how we went from hating Nodoka to having that scene.

that Selebus takes pride of this totally extra moronic puzzle and an event that has to be triggered in such a bizarre way over everything else in this update is just yet another wtf moment for me - dude actually thinks this is good

"sure, let me just stop playing the game to have to copy random series of numbers through URM on a piece of paper, and then copy them to the screen multiple times. What joy, why ask questions that relate to the lore? much better to do this obviously"...

Please be more specific, what does do nothing mean, just let it sit on the menu? The first frame of the swimming scene? Halp
When you select Swim, a scene plays out. When that scene is finished you're back at the menu. Congratulations, you've done nothing (because there's nothing to interact with in the scene) and can move on to the next line in the walkthrough.

Cycle Variation Speculation:

That's as far as I got right now.
I'm hesitant to go trigger the happy event because there's no way to really know about it without URM or digging through the code, feels like a trap lol
If you can trigger it through URM, you can bypass whatever "trap" it might include in the future. I think it's more likely that he left it as an easter egg for people that are going to replay the game in the next two months without content. As they'd trigger "Amy" again, and upon doing so, Alexis would start.
