Sara's: "Halfway Down the Wishing Well" , narrated by Akira or someone/thing else.
"If I fuck another mommy Mommy frowns and says I’m not allowed."

I guess someone did fuck his mommy, somewhere.
I'm going to have to rewatch that cause from context i cant see how that relates to nodoka molesting her mom
edit:
yeah poem was about dicking down a mom
poem did make me think of the upside down house....
which just makes me think i am remembering the implied childhood home of akira was said house
i have no confidence on that though till i find the event i think I am recalling

It's from Nodoka's: Amoeba (Incrontrovertible Peculiarity)

Akira "As in...you were poor?"
Nodoka "Perhaps it’s better if I don’t attempt to explain things at all. It’ll only make me appear insane."

Maybe it's her insane way to describe growing up poor.
But maybe she's pointing to something different.

Espacially with the:
Nodoka "What if someone has been somewhere else but everyone thinks they’re crazy and no one believes them because the idea of another world layered on top of this one is absurd? It’s insane. It’s impossible."

Maybe Nodoka has a mother in Kumonmi, a life, some conections.
But maybe Nodoka comes from the Upside Down House. Maybe a few of Kumonmi inhabitants do.
And Nodoka feels a connection to that place, and remembers it.

The Upside Down House is said to be on the edge of the universe, what ever universe means in that context (could just be Kumonmi).
And that could also mean that it's on top of it, or, that Kumonmi originates from the Upside Down House.
Maybe it really is a game, played by the inhabitants of the Upside Down House, and everyone wants the story to go their way, hence the "gods".
And some got lost in the story, like for example Nodoka (which might be in fact, Nozomu).

It would really be some badass 4th wall breaking everything considered.
But i think it could fit.

I'd rather have explained that train of thought seperatly, but it is as it is.
Actually to add on to the whole Upside Down House thing, it was mentioned in the "Swimming with Sharks" event that Nodoka is from the "border" of Kumon-mi:

It could be nothing, but border of Kumon-mi and the edge of the universe could be seen as the same thing in certain contexts.

it was mentioned more than once, futaba tells you i think like twice... I imagine her house in on the wall and that is near where they wrote their names cause futaba also says she cant recall if she could find it again

oh while looking through nodoka events...
I've seen some interesting 'buried beneath your feet' things
1686070308371.png
1686070362029.png
and one is buried beneath Christs feet
a crucifix is a common burial marker as well
ami's parents dont seem to have one though...thought it was just a giant stone with engraving

when selebus wants to spell things with images he puts a crucifix in for a t everytime he does his flashing images thing

either way i think what ever it is, might be buried under a crucifix
have we seen one in game at any point... disregarding the telephone poles. is there one in the church?

I thought she might be referring to the event where she and Akira went outside the wall with that line, with the implication being that outside the wall is another world (which seems painfully obvious at this point)

There's some crosses in Yasu's church:

but the crosses that tend to stick out are those that show up in Happy Events:

A picture of Jesus crucified also shows up in a few Happy Events if I recall. Can't recall an actual Crucifix showing up unless you consider "The letter T" happy event as showing one. Replacing Jesus with Maya.

I really thought that Sekai was wearing a cross at least somewhere, specifically in the Kindergarden event or the hallway.
But i looked through what i think were all of her images, and nothing.

So if anyone knows a scene where she does wear one, please let me know.

Besides that at least she is talking a couple of times about god and religion, so there is some connection.

So sick if wanting to know what's in that fucking box, i've heard every theory, i want to KNOW.
Realistic guess: Some memories or shit from other resets about Sensei or her old life

More exiting but less posible: A lot of porn with weird fetishes or old porn footages with sensei

Also I WANT TO KNOW TOO

Oh wow... that looks like a jackpot
The two crosses in the happy event seem to be the same ones in the church.
nice find
it at least solidly connects the happy event to the church

as for most of the other crosses in the happy events, those are the pictures that generally selly uses to spell things rather than in game landmarks
I'm not ever sure if the real life photos are even interactable with akira, I took them as symbolism
the clock based reliquary in front of the alter thing is also perfectly positioned to block the view of anything hanging from the ceiling... interesting

wait
is yasu's church in the old district
must of forgot that.
neat

Actually, in Yasu's "Transference", Yasu's church seems to be in the "Urban District":

Just a "weird, slummy part" of it.

I do wonder if Yasu reading The Library and mentioning what Sensei was thinking earlier (Fly Eggs) might mean there's some connection to Nao and the Wishing Well, which is also called the Library, in "Mother's Milk" though. Could be nothing.

That's a point! I was convinced that Yasu only serves calous god, but now it looks more like collective god, like in christianity. Need to think about it.

Hi, long time lurker here. I've been enjoying your arguments and theories for a while holding back my urge to join in until now. Basically, because I'm certainly not good at crafting theories, more of an observer, constantly raising questions. It doesn´t help either that english is not my native language so I have to put double the effort in expressing my thoughts. So the time I'll spend here will be mostly sitting on the Dunce Table rather than the Plant Council.

But I said "fuck it" and share some thoughts (embrace yourselves because it's going to be long). We've had two big theories in here recently on why some girls are able to go through resets (pregnancy and being killed by amy), and when I first read about the pregnancy one I feel exactly the same like when I discovered the R+L=J in Game of Thrones, like "yeah! there's no way that's not it". The Ami one is cool, the kind of theory you just want to be truth.

And I feel they are not totally debunked if you combine them: Maya seems to think you gotta be pregnant in every reset to make it to the roof (which doesn't explain her situation, since she is allegedly not carrying a baby or related to Akira), but how about if they need to be pregnant just the first time and then a second condition is met: this being, getting killed by Ami. But since they are pregnant, the child is the sacrifice that allowed them to survive next resets. There have been some talks about sacrifices in the game. Also, Himawari is a external agent and one of the things she might be doing is precisely helping Ayane during the resets.

Now, I always wondered why aren't more girls getting pregnant, Akira is not shy in filling their wombs regularly. So here comes a crazy thought with 0.0001% of holding truth: there are specific resets in which specific girls are "ovulating" and ready to get pregnant. And how do you recognize them? Well, when they find glitches in the matrix... which means now Makoto is ready to be impregnated, something that's being heavily implied that will happen this update. It's a shame my fav girl Yumi missed her chance.

And that's a big reason of why I think Makoto will actually be the first Ami's victim (on screen). There are many other reasons tough:
- Ami always felt threatened by Makoto for some reason, she is identified as her enemy N°1 from the start.
- Makoto tried to kill herself multiple times unsuccesfully. Now, she's trying a different approach, being more relaxed and happy... yeah, that's not how things works in Kumon mi, you are asking for trouble.
- Makoto will be the one acting more suspiciously out of character this loop.
- She is doing tehrapy with Ami and even tough she's not stupid to outing herself, Ami will have many opportunities of reading her for the slightest slip of the tongue.
- She will spend a lot of time with the "traitors" Maya and Ayane. Ami will feel particularly aggravated by this betrayal since she is the one that helped her through the bad times.
- The girl killed must be "in the know", what's the point of killing an unsuspecting girl like Chika? I think Ami will try to erase someone that is actively trying to break the cycle.
- And well, if it does happen, would be the perfect oportunity to test all of our theories.

Not sure if you belong at my table bro, i mean, you're 100% welcome here but i think you'd fit in more with the plants... that's some big think right there and you've earned about 5 's from me with it.

Well, since I finally started posting I should put all of my thoughts out there. I mean, this was a fucking huge update. So... about Nao-chan, she is definitely an enigma, but here is what we know. Chinami and Tsukasa are 9-10 years old right? and we are specifically told that Nao looks a just a little younger... let's say 8 years old. That's exactly the years since the accident and it's been speculated in here that Sekai was pregnant at the time. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but in the very early game there's an event where Akira recalls going to a forest to have sex with Sekai against a tree. I think that is the same forest he went with Kaori in this update and the place that this unborn child was conceived, hence why Nao was found in there. Why does she look like an amalgalm of Sekai/Ami, Maya, Yumi, Tsuneyo? No idea, be my guest. Just a thought.

And there's other thing I found baffling: Maya told us that Sensei never made it past more than 3 resets I think. That is a very short time, yet enough for psycho Ami to being unleashed multiple times. Wich begs the question: What happened? What is Sensei doing so "well" this time around to avoid Ami going nuts during so many resets. He's not being subtle in his escapades fucking around and sleeping outside his apartment many nights.... I'm only left to believe that previous iterations of Akira was a total idiot, like going to the classroom and literally flapping his dick around and asking "Hey girls, which one of you want to make peepeee feeels gooood?" (to bring in another great theory in here) obviosuly triggering Ami. I mean what the fuck.

Anyway, shit is about to hit the fan for real this timem there are many threats hanging over their cute little necks. Sensei being given an ultimatum, Amy about to go on a killing spree and of course the biggest threat of them all: there's not much time left before Cockzilla start rampaging the city. You gotta give it to him though, he has the most solid plan so far, just eat his way out of Kumon mi bubble and break the barrier.
